Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
G'day!

Meet Dot, an ordinary young woman, a simple librarian and scribe, dragged off to War to fight for a country that mistrusts and fears her because the way she looks and acts and the reputation of her race. Because she's a Changeling.

Dot's a Changeling Wizard, specialising in shapeshifting, trickery, and whatever seems fun on the way. Likely Transmutation, Conjuration and Illusion.

(BTW, she will be in Human form in the tent.)

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Congratulations on being accepted. I'm the Co-GM, I've not spoken to most of you but I've been collaborating with the GM in regards to everything happening in this game.

That said, I hope you all can have your sheets ready soon. Spells need to be prepped, feats need to be allocated and etc etc. If you require any help, PM the GM and I and we'll be glad to help advise. But you already knew that. All of you have solid characters.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Hello everyone. Once again, welcome to the game.

Things will get rolling once everyone is done with their sheets. PM me when complete. Ideally, I hope to begin by next Monday.

Also, I made an embaressing mistake. Check your private threads. A certain npcs name has been changed. Setting savvy ones will recognize it :)

I thought it looked familiar. Good thing I chose not to mention it. ;)

What is everyone's classes? It may help me not to step on any toes with my build.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Hello, this is your friendly fifth wheel, checking in. Well, Aetheron isn't all that friendly, but I am.

Aetheron's a straight warlock, split fairly evenly between infiltrator and glass cannon. Definitely not someone to go toe to toe with someone, but has more than a few nasty tricks up his sleeve.

Hello!

Gotcha, I'll have some repairs. I even put a point in Craft (sculpting) just for you. ;)

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Hey all. I'm a little late but we've been doing a little tinkering with my character now that we have the whole group together.

Zann will call himself a halfling swordmaster and battlemage. A tiny bundle of tactical recklessness and swashbuckling derring-do with a sweet tangat. Actually I have a couple levels of Artificer for the "battlemage" portion. So Dot, don't worry about using your precious spell slots for repairs. That Craft skill rank won't hurt though=)

With a moment to buff I should be able to mix it up in melee as well, should we have to. We look like a solid all-around group with every base covered.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Well, except for a cleric to heal all us non-warforged... Unless he or she hasn't introduced themselves yet.

Otherwise, though, I think you're right. A Fighter/Ranger[or scout], wizard, warlock, and fighter/artificer is a pretty good core.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
I get the impression that Sophi may be just that:
"From her neck on a fine chain hangs the polished silver symbol of the Sovereign Host."
But I don't think that masterwork sword is for cutting bandages=)

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Sorry about the silence, guys. I've actually been planning a wedding... mine :)
On that subject, I'll be getting married. Today. So probably the rest of today and a good chunk of tomorrow I won't get to post very much. We'll be honeymooning in a very nice hotel, though, so I should be able at least to check in, and then on the 21st I'll be back home.

And yes, I'm glad to say I am a proud cleric of the Sovereign Host. Here for all of your undead-battling and wound-healing needs. I was originally set to play the Healer class from the Miniatures Handbook, but our wonderful GM's pointed out astutely that the class is woefully underpowered by comparison. Either way, I figure if anybody drops under half HP, I'm not doing my job right.

It can be interesting if you can steal their thunder, with my long time table top group I often frustrate the dm to no end when I guess what is coming just before he reveals it...

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Does anyone know of a list of Eberroni oaths and/or curse words? I know plenty for the Realms, and some from a half dozen other settings, but none for Eberron. I have a feeling I'm going to be needing them for Aetheron, but I want my curses to be in character.
