Re: Main OOC 2

And everyone will be making Sereno spend the holiday in a book-induced haze.  We'll see how Ulciscor feels about it or if he considers distracting his boyfriend a fitting challenge.

Also, we might have a timey-wimey ball issue...  Can we stall the Freehold meeting until something in PMs is resolved?

Re: Main OOC 2

That's fine, go ahead and drop it in the PMs. Just a heads up, though. Since you two are rushing into this particular conversation, it means that neither David nor Sereno have talked to anyone else about it, so do your gosh damned best not to drop information that comes up later. So, nothing from the freehold, and nothing from the conversation with Kevin. Those both happen after the fact.

Hey, all.  Headed to an out of state convention tonight through Sunday, so....posting will be slightly more limited than most weekends.

Hope all are well!

And I'm going to Disneyland from Friday to Sunday, so this will be sluggish, sorry.

Have fun, you two. Though I somehow suspect Disneyland will be more entertaining than a state convention... though I guess it's a question of what the convention is for.

It's anime, so he'll be having fun.  How do I know?

David and his wife have a webcomic and it says they are going to Zenkaikon.

Re: Main OOC 2

It should be, hopefully.  We've always had fun there before, and we get to meet John DeLancie this year.  Q/Discord!

It's no Disneyland, but still....

Re: Main OOC 2

Be thankful for that, I say.  The one time that Anime Expo was held at Disneyland it was lamexorz.

Re: Main OOC 2

I am shocked the House of Mouse would allow that. You know, considering the sort of "content" that gets peddled at anime cons.

I approve of anything involving John DeLancie, however.

Re: Main OOC 2

that would likely explain why it was "one time".

I would imagine alot of big wig planning people at Disney probably had not been made completely aware of the nature of some of that material.

"Come on, it's just cartoons. That's kid-friendly, right?"

*one trip through the fan gallery later*

Re: Main OOC 2

It wasn't all bad, I suppose.  The con staff did marvelously, all things considered.  The venue, unfortunately, just had different ideas of what should happen and everyone just kind of had to deal with all the changes that were made to the schedule moment to moment.

But, yeah, having almost no pervy stuff on the dealer floor after day one was kind of saddening for me. :(

Awww, I want to pinch the new mage's cheeks so much.  He's adorable.

But god, he's going to have an interesting time meeting the rest of the Concord.

Re: Main OOC 2

I'm next to positive you guys have all mentioned this before, but I don't really want to go through all the OOC threads to find out -- if Queen's Bay were a movie, who do you think would be a good casting choice for your respective PC?

Re: Main OOC 2

I don't remember such a discussion.

The problem with Sereno is the only actor I can think of who works is Ben Whishaw, as Q from Skyfall, and even then, he is too pale and isn't quite Latino enough.

Probably Joseph Gordon-Levitt.  Right size and body type, and can very easily do that 'too fricking calm and collected' thing very easily.
