I see Rain Feather has been getting lessons from Sun Snake in the field of speechifying there :)

Hopefully if Sabre turns it up a notch too, we can surround Alyne by walls of glorious uplifting text until she turns crazy enough to lead the Acolytes to a new, happier destiny.

One where they mine gold for the Kai in Ruanon to atone for their sins, for example.

Re: OOC: sixth form

Probably won't be Swift now, she seems rather attached to that sword for some reason...

Wonder if anyone will be brave enough to try to take it away from her ;)  hehe.

Ah, so stabbing Silver Rain after going to the rescue will be how you turn to the dark side. Cool. Didn't see that coming!

FF will take the axe. But he's - you know - got to wander about like he's not noticed the others are there a bit first.

Ah ok, just checking :)

Trying to lull Swift into a sense of false security before sticking the axe in her back and taking the sword? ;)
I'm onto you!  hehe.

Heh, it's nice to see FF show some emotion, and funnier that its towards inanimate cool objects :D

Also, Shark excited about shinies is always heartening, and just plain funny when she gets impatient that said shinies aren't getting explained fast enough :D

I wish FF hadn't tipped that he was just making shit up to explain the CS bonus.

Well Swift would have been drawn to the pendant even without the CS bonus :)

mmm, lots of shinies in this room...

Re: OOC: sixth form

Regarding tipping making stuff up: apologies, but it seemed my previous effort at not saying 'Combat Skill bonus' had simply caused confusion.  Unless it was me that got confused. Probably....

And of course, being vague means I'm not outright lying by not mentioning they're all cursed items.

Drat. I didn't say that.

That was not the give-away statement you're looking for. Frost Ferret may go about his betray-.... I mean business. Drat it!

Re: OOC: sixth form

:) I've eaten slugs at times, and they're not especially bad, but I don't really like them - they're not chewy enough for my tastes; it feels like pasta made of meat, really, and I'm more of an extremist in eating. Things that mix flavour like that were never really to my liking.

Still, they're usually found in area where there is high humidity, and I think this system of caves, what with the rivers running inside them, definitely qualify, and they're most definitely edible once they've been cooked.

As for you fighting each other, I don't necessarily want that, and only you as player can know what you're going to do next... but, I do happen to know a thing or two about reasons why you might end up fighting each other, and if that happens, wouldn't you be glad I kept your powers secret so you can use them for surprise attacks/defenses and the like? ^_^

Wish I'd kept knowledge of Swift's "instant kill" special to myself now ;)  hehe.

Still, who knows what other tricks (and sharp objects) she's hiding up her sleeves? ;)

Actually she's got five... :)
But she just likes to have a hobby, you know?  I mean some people collect stamps, Swift collects daggers :)
