Just to clarify-

the Foxes and one Drakkar will be climbing the waterfall.  Rain, Snake, and Sun Feather will be exploring the underground river without any back-up.  Is that what Vyctar's suggesting?

I think Vyctar' asking if anyone else can breathe underwater for a long time, given Rain's comments. Snake's suggestion was IZahira goes alone while tghe rest reclaim the old camp and start getting info on the camps from returning Drakkarim

Not exactly. You're right on the first part, Rain, but on the second part, he's actually suggesting that Zahira explores the underground river on her own - unless one of you has the skills to do so in place of her - while the rest of you stand waiting near the lake, crafting a camp there.

Also, you might not know it in character, but Vyctar earlier suggested that you and Zahira might try to sneak past the Acolytes camp and search for the rest of his men - Vyctar is asking Sun Snake if they should wait for the two exploratory missions to be completed before making an attempt at doing that.

No idea what climbing bonuses we get, but I'm assuming they won't modify a 0,1 nor 2 above a 5. Seems boringly unheroic to lose 9EP due to a non-plot essential climb, but there we go!

It's a +2 from climbing equipment; somebody with Huntmastery would also get a +3, as climbing counts mong the reasonable uses of Hunting.

So no, without Huntmastery, your 2 would become only a 4, Sun Snake. You seem in need of some healing, don't you? :)

No, you do need WP to hunt - but, a single roll could suffice for the entire group, and DC 6 is not that difficult for someone with Huntmastery, is it? ^_^
