The Imperial Base

Early the next morning Pek came to the Rebels floating shell the Alabak's Gold "We must go" he urged. The city of Fitsay was quiet and dark.

As Lyla had warned the Alabak's Gold should keep it's distance to avoid detection by the Imperials. Pek was trusting enough to come aboard and travel with them as far as they dared. The journey toward the Imperial Base underwater and on the surface was peaceful. Then Pek warned them "we are close" readouts on the ship calculated that they were about two hundred kilometres southeast of Fitsay.

Once Pek notifies them that they're close, Jason sets the ship on autopilot to keep it in the same location and make sure it doesn't drift away in the current. Then he get's up out of the pilot's seat.

"Say Pek. We managed to take one of the fish killers captive and take it's armor. The shell he wears to protect himself. My plan is to put that on and see if I can get in among the fish killers, learn what they're doing. But it's still me and i'm still your friend"

These people seem smart enough to understand the concept of deception and dressing up. But he still wants to warn Pek so he doesn't freak out if a stormtrooper suddenly appears. He also looks questioningly at Lyla.

"At least i think that's the plan, if such an opportunity presents itself?"

Lyla had tried to make Pek welcome and comfortable aboard the Gold, even flooding some of the chambers for him to splash around in, but it was still a task getting the Sedrian's big body and flippers through the ship. A Mon Calamari he was not. Speaking of, Lyla checked on Rekara, to see if she had anything to add at this stage of the mission. She'd been quiet and withdrawn to her quarters ever since they'd arrived, so bringing her along on the mission was looking increasingly like a bad idea.

'If an opportunity presents itself, sure.' Lyla agreed. 'Do you think you can con them? At the least, we could use the old Wookiee prisoner gambit.'

'Hmm. I don't want us shooting the wrong seatrooper. Maybe we could add something to the armour so we can recognise you? Something the others won't be suspicious about?'

"Well, my brother is a stormtrooper, seems to me all you need is the personality of a dead horse and a complete lack of any sense of humor.. How hard can it be?"

When Lyla suggests adding something to the armor to recognize him he frowns and considers.

"Anything we add might also draw suspicion though. It'd have to be really subtle.. Maybe it'd be easier to agree on a signal, 3 taps on my blaster rifle with 3 fingers and you'll know it's me, something along those lines.."

"If it's an imperial base, then whoever in our team that knows how to use explosives and sabotage should be the one in the armour...assuming they fit into it." Tera shrugged.

OOC I'm not saying he couldn't be talked into it, but you have to RP it.
