I would like to point out that even with Humanity 6 (the lowest you can have at the start with without being an elder) Torture still requires a test to see if you lose it.  I suspect there are a lot of you that will be losing Humanity.

Nice post Dimitri. There is a book in which I actually enjoyed the torture scenes, its called "The First Law", the character Glokta was really great fun.
