Intro (read first)

This is an experimental game, and it plays with some RPG elements - some of the gimmicks are apparent in the rules, some will be revealed during play. It is intentionally designed to be a very difficult and rather confusing game, and I'm not going to pull punches. It went on hiatus due to health problems on my part, and is now making a comeback!

I have two players from before the hiatus, which is why two of the characters were listed as unavailable at the outset. There are two other characters available at the start and potentially one more further down the line, but I'm also going to accept a certain number of other players as "ghosts." Ghosts can't directly influence the game world, but they can observe all goings-on and act as voices in the active players' heads (which can either help them solve the mystery or drive them insane). No new characters will be allowed; any player that loses their character becomes a ghost. Conversely, when a character becomes available, either by being introduced in-game or due to a player leaving, a ghost can immediately take over. I'm hoping having some extra players following the story and working to solve the mysteries of the game will make things smoother if we lose players and need replacements.

As to posting rate: It's gotten kind of uneven, but I'd like players to be available to post every few days, at least. Being available every day would be a bonus on your RTJ, though you probably shouldn't expect the other players (or the GM) to be able to keep up that pace consistently. If a plan is being assembled or action being taken, and a player doesn't object to it within a day or two, I'll assume the plan goes forward with their cooperation. Thus, even if a player is absent for too long or just a slow poster, I should be able to bump things along every couple of days when the plot calls for it.
