Re: Episode 6-1: Herding the Cats
"Uuuuuuuuuuurk," Korpi joined in cheerfully at Gabby's drawl. The raven ducked a little at first, ready to launch into the air at the first sign of a grab, but soon relaxed upon realising Daniel only wanted to stroke her. The mantle of smaller feathers at her shoulders showed all its subtle shades of irridescence as the gentle pressure changed how barbules caught the light, smooth as warmed satin.
Deciding she really did trust Dalix, Korpi fluffed her head and neck feathers a little and offered him the base of her skull for scratching.
Sky Dog leant back against the outer doorframe, extremely confused. "Shoot at a shamán?" he repeated, incredulous. "Do they not teach your people as children, it is so much foolish to offer one harm, even when a shamán is a hundred years dead?" He shook his head. "They would be far more cursed!"
The shaman stared at Gabby a moment, before being distracted by Daniel. "I would not curse the man to twist his ankle - for that much, I could be pushing him off a porch - he is learning very little! No, I woul- hm?"
Sky Dog nodded to the barber, seeing the wisdom. "For myself, I would be protected, but if you would wish to help it would be a bad seeming...maybe you are right that I should wait, but I am worried they will kill the man Jackson, as almost it was last night, or harm another, and think it no wickedness to do so." Sky Dog fiddled with the feather bound to his right braid.
