Guidance System...

There is still about an hour or so of light in the sky as the group makes its way towards the town from the drop zone. Calculations using an area map show it is about 3 miles to the outskirts of the test town, so moving with some level of care it should take just about an hour to reach the town.

OOC: So, what are people doing on the way to the town? Is there a particular way you are approaching?

Re: Guidance System...

"Well, how cautious are we to be, here?" Vosper asked.  "I can get there right quick, but it'll kick up dust in this desert.  If we want to be all stealth-like, it'll take longer."

Re: Guidance System...

Onyx looked around, realizing they didn't really have a "leader."

"I think we should take it slow, jack.  Mellow, ya'know?  We gotta watch each other's backs too.  If you see somethin' don't hesitate to pull a brother's coat tail, ya'dig?  When we get right up on 'em tho, we should fly in.   I can probably carry two, maybe three people, so long as everyone weighs less than 250. Ossy, how many people could you carry?" he asked the square.

Re: Guidance System...

Nightmare unhitches the chute, and bundles it together. As he takes his hat from his coat and buttons it, again, atop his head, he says, "I doubt stealth would gain us much, but I believe tiring ourselves on the approach would be a bad idea. I will endeavor to be circumspect, as I walk."

Re: Guidance System...

"We'll take it slow, then," Vosper said.  "But I'll take a wee scout ahead.  Not too far, just to get the lay of the land."

The speedster dashed ahead then, moving at 150 mph over the desert sands, running at twice the speed of a charging cheetah.

Re: Guidance System...

Eddy helped with the bundling and hiding of the parachutes.
His strength and claws made a very quick hole in the desert's flesh for them to bury their evidence.

"I'm all for walking straight in.  Alone, if you guys wanna play backup, but we have to enter that one way regardless, so if they're watching, they'll know we're coming anyway" he shared, as he filled the hole in over the 'shutes.

Re: Guidance System...

Nightmare has been attempting to shove his parachute back into the pack it shot from. "I'll just carry this, it might come in handy."
"Actually, it occurs to me that if anyone in that base is watching the approaches, they're likely to make use of whatever security has been already set up. As this was a government facility, they've likely got the best and know someone dropped down in the desert, even though they don't know it's us."

Re: Guidance System...

"Either way, we might as well start heading that way, and hope that Vosper can catch up.   Otherwise, she's going to get left behind and miss all the action" Eddy said.

With the parachutes, etc, all packed and either buried or carried, Eddy was ready to head off across the sands towards their destination.
