I was pleased to find that as well.

As a note, we are using LBB Book 1 and Book 4: Mercenary for combat. Blake's carbine is semi-automatic, not selective fire. He can fire bursts but that will drain the magazine as it counts as "panic fire" (Book 4).

Since Blake wants to kick up dirt, he would empty the magazine.  The trick is to not hit anyone -- yet.

As an aside, does Ken have a carbine as well or a shotgun?

His gear list says shotgun so that's what we'll go with.

Expedition gear includes more shotguns, some revolvers and a couple laser rifles.

I think shotgun is his best choice when thinking about being inside of a very large spacecraft.  Of course he didn't think they would have such large open spaces...

I don't follow this reasoning because I don't see Jack saying that IC anywhere. If nothing else you can always post Jack making this particular suggestion, right?

Anyways, this is something you will need to decide on and post regarding IC. If you think Jack would take command and move the group towards the ville, then you can always post doing that. If not, I note that Ken hasn't had a chance to weigh in since it became obvious you were possibly getting outflanked. We can give him a little more time, no rush.
