In fairness the brothers Elven were unlucky with Awareness rolls; they can still make it up (and/or into) the Tower.

Elstarir will probably get private posts if he goes in a window. Until then he is in 'public' view.

Technically yes Tarrian and Mannath can't see what the Elf brothers are doing at the moment but they aren't doing anything spoileriffic yet.

I keep getting bugged to "climb the tower!". This is the proof that I shouldn't even try it:


21:11, Today: Vithrain rolled 11 using 2d6. Skill test OOC Climb proof. target 4.

That's all the proof I need that I should NEVER EVER EVER try to climb Ivy covered towers. :p

Well with an 11 and a target of 4 or under I just climbed the tower, slipped, fell, broke my neck. Now you have no brother. :/

For some reason I'd been under the impression that Vithrain had the Climb skill since everyone else does. Hmm, I'll try and factor this in.

By the way I wanted to check with people whether they think their characters are literate.

Vithrain obviously is a wizard and thus literate by defenition and since Elstarir is his brother he is likely to be literate to.

Tarrian (as a barbarian) and Mannath (as an ex-street rat) might or might not be able to read and write. It can be characterful and isn't a huge disadvantage but if you prefer I'll just assume you picked it up somewhere. :)
