Act I, Scene Two: About Town

The death of Baron Bluestone has sent shockwaves throughout the city-port. Bewildered locals are grouped here and there, recounting the tragic events that you were a part of. It is up to you to see that justice is done! Somewhere in the town lie the solutions to the Reaver's riddles, and to stand any chance of catching up with him, it seems you must play his little game.

Lady Carolina pays for room and board at the finest inn in the city while you search for clues and she assigns one of her handmaidens to assist you around the city and act as a go she assigns one of her handmaidens to assist you around the city and act as a go between - the lady herself is in mourning and having to deal with the affairs of Kallamehr so clearly cannot accompany you herself.

At Vithrain's request you are provided with a map of the city of Kallamehr:

In reply to The Gamesmaster (msg # 1):

As there is only one inn listed on the map, is that where we are staying?? Because if so it's also the one we need to search.

Re: Act I, Scene Two: About Town

A young lady, dressed in leather, with a dark veil (oriental style) and covered witha a large, dark cloak, comes to welcome you at the Inn: "Hello, my name is Chadda and Lady Carolina asked me to accompany you in your mission. I can help you as a combat medic. Did you have a chance to go to the city armoury and get the weapons that you need?"She lets the cloak open a bit and you can see that she has at least six knives attached to various belts.
Her eyes have heavy make up and you are not sure if she is one of the handmaidens that you have seen before.

Tarrian shakes her head.  "We are armed already," she tells the handmaiden.  "However, a guide is most welcome.  Do you know our task?

"We are to visit several places in the city.  One is the Nautical Academy, the other a tavern called the Parrot In A Cage.  Given the choice, my illustrious companion Mannath has decided we should start at the tavern."
She shoots her travelling companion a wry smirk.  "Can you take us there?  I believe it's on the other side of the market square?"

Mannath looked enviously at Chadda's armaments. "A trip to the armoury might be fun. I quite fancy getting me some of those throwing knives."

He shoots a look a Tarrian. "Hey, nothing wrong with beginning any journey in a tavern... or ending one there for that matter!"

"I came to Kallamehr with Mylady, when she married with the Baron, and I passed most of my time with her, but I hope I can guide you through the city. To start, let me show where the armory is, then we can go to the tavern"

After the funeral the young Elf had spent time at the armoury making new arrows. Now fully equiped he waited next to his brother silently for the mission to start.
