Re: OOC Discussion

There always seems to be when a new game is starting up. My other games have been quiet today though but it's a bit of a blessing. Gives me more time to work on this one.

Re: OOC Discussion

I'm putting this in the RTJ / Character Creation thread as well but thought I'd bring it to your attention here too. Everyone starts out with some items they would normally have on them. They are listed below.

Adventurer Starting Kit
Backpack
Waterskin
Bedroll
Flint and Steel
Torch x5
Oil x2

In reply to Nori Hammerfist (msg #10):

Hahaha like your main weapon? Better pack a spare then buddy. Also, it seems we may have a Blade-Bound Magus joining our ranks here soon.

Also, Taron, get your brother to put in his RTJ if he wants to join up so I know whether or not to advertise for a rogue / ranger before my post gets knocked too far down.

Re: OOC Discussion

Ok, my character sheet is done for the most part.  I may do some tweeking here and there as ideas come to me.

I'm far from being your stereotypical sorcerer.

Yeah I like what I see from your character so far. It will be interesting seeing what he brings to the table.

Hey, Nori...I see what you did with the name there.  I recently made a Warforged Warlock named Nam Nori.

Re: OOC Discussion

Can't wait to see how hes played. I know dwarves dont like orcs or goblinoids including half orcs. Whats the general consensus of half ogres?

Re: OOC Discussion

The smaller races such as dwarves, halflings, and gnomes distrust them to some extend due to their size and the feeling is usually returned due to concerns of them being too small and able to easily steal from the half-ogres but it's not a definitive stereotype.

Oh, yeah?  I just updated my character description yet again so you know what you're dealing with.

How would a staredown be handled.  Intimidate vs Intimidate, high roll wins?  :)

Re: OOC Discussion

Hello all.  I'm glad to be joining in.  Dale's description is up if you want to check it out.  Gren looks like fun.  I think he and Dale are either going to clash horribly or get along wonderfully.

And I agree with Gren.  Interesting characters are way more fun.  Of course, severely min/maxed characters are often hilarious for their glaring shortcomings.

Dale, I think James is a more threatening name than Sir Fuzzyboots. Just saying.

Re: OOC Discussion

Yes, but Sir Fuzzyboots is a cat, not a sword...  And now I want to name the sword Sir Fuzzyboots.  I think Dale would have to make a Will save on that one, though.

Re: OOC Discussion

Yeah that'd be a pretty high DC lol

Good news, we have a ranger among our midsts...well we will tomorrow at least. Now all we need is a bandaid dispenser and we'll be ready to start. If push comes to shove and we can't get one in a mayor two, I will roll up a character and do it myself. I do like having a character in my games a lot of the times. Just not the leader or the rogue. Makes things damn near impossible.
