Re: Welcome to Oz
In reply to Hatty Hattington (msg # 976):

You get the best of the two options for everything (HD, BAB, etc) and you get all class features of both (unless a feature is shared, in which case you use the better progression).

Re: Welcome to Oz
In reply to Dorugo (msg # 977):

For saves, do you have to take a whole set of saves from one class or the other, or do you combine both?
For example, if one class has a better Fort save and the other has a better Ref save, do you have to pick one or the other or do you get both?

Re: Welcome to Oz
In reply to Dorugo (msg # 977):

Well fuck that seems heavily biased. Give me a three paragraph report on your characters life and why he has these two classes and a ten sentence/line description of your character and their gestalt status and you got a deal. I will grade it and you need a C to low level power, B for mid, and A for holy shit what the fuck like monk druid.

In reply to Kami (msg # 988):

But we all made our sheets and everything already. The only reason I wanted gestalt was to fill the giant gap in the party without too many NPCs, otherwise I don't really care. And we could pretty much start now, we're all done.

In reply to Dorugo (msg # 989):

Hell naw, I ranger with druid casting and shape shifting ability fuck that shit.

Besides you are a barbarian. If your gonna gestalt your using the character you already have.

And dude Hyper, my GMs made me do this without playing gestalt, hell I once had to act out the five stages of grief.

So is that a no on Gestalt then??

Well he came back so quickly and eagerly thanks to gestalt.

Why bullshit, you already made this character. Just make her like a fire mage and have her be a Gruul clan member.

If we are doing Gestalt, I am making an entirely new character since I have been wanting to do certain combos for a really long time now.
