The Road
After you all decide together what supplies you may need for the journey ahead Kifkin lets you know he will need three days to gather everything and set the wagon to go. So having gathered all the requested supplies he is standing with you beside the well packed wagon pulled by a strong looking horse, "well I got everything you requested as well as some things I thought you may find useful." He stands around a bit unsure of what to say next, "so, farewell and good luck I guess.

Re: The Road
Rivka nodded to the man, shaking his hand.
"Thank you for arranging this.  We'll hope to see you back here soon.  We'll find you in the bard's local hangout, I presume?"

"Don't worry, I'll find you." He gives you a map detailing the best path to take with an X over an unmarked section of map, showing just how unknown this little village is.

Yes its been about a week.

Re: The Road
Rivka forced a smile, wondering if their 100 gold and free supplies would be their only payment.  Still, it was a good payment as is, so she decided not to worry about if the bard vanished on them.
"Sounds good, my friend.  We'll see you when we get back."

"We should probably set a rotating shift for driving, a couple could be manning the carriage while the rest sleep, it'd make for a faster trip."

Rivka nodded.
"As long as the horse holds out.   I'll start of you'd like."

In reply to Rivka (msg # 8):

"I'll go ahead and just take the first shift sleeping."
She hops in the back and curls up in the corner, setting aside what must be a dozen blades as she does so.

Well I'm going out to eat right now. My character is asleep so you can continue without me until something *cough*dragons*cough* wakes me up.

You can if you'd like.   I'm pretty bad at maps as a DM, so I won't push it either way.

Nah, that's okay. No need for a map, unless you want to make one.

Alrighty then, the first night is fairly uneventful as is to be expected as your travel consists of mainly grass lands, who will be doing the night driving??
