Well, Gerad has an Imp and an Lantern Archon with him, speaks in voices, is accompanied by a Tulpa empowered by beings of at least the Far Realms, arrived through a flaw in time, and uses an ancient form of magic independent of the Weave or Shadow Weave, and another form based on powers predating Aebir-Toril. He also tends to dress like an mage-escapee from Netheril.

I know that Khorolf is a Mystic Bartender, Shapes healing magic, and empowers Charms and Talismans (since I helped set those up), which isn't exactly normal either. Also out of time of course.

Even John is using at least one skill (Gadgetry) from another dimension and is doubly out of time - while Xenophon and Luna both seem to be from different times and alternate timelines.

We're not exactly inconspicuous or secretive about the weirdness anyway.

Some of the farming fields look like lakes but the levies are intact. If we had actual flooding we’d have to evacuate since we are below the water level.

I must admit that Gerad's sheet and notes are forty-four pages long, and mostly point to where to check the threads... But then he is a bit obsessive about having all the information.

Oh, does anyone have any interest in those magical tattoos? They aren't enormously powerful, but they're a fairly decent benefit for everyone in the party. Everyone getting a choice of three from among:

• +1 luck bonus on attack rolls.
• +1 deflection bonus to AC.
• +2 resistance bonus on saving throws.
• +2 competence bonus on attack rolls.
• Spell Resistance 23.
• +2 Enhancement Bonus to any one Basic Attribute
• Cast Spells at +1 Spellcaster Level when determining level-based variables.

Isn't an especially enormous boost, but it should be handy for almost any character.

John would love one of those.

Should I be looking into other things I can build for group usage myself? I think my power set allows it.

Why not? Party boosts are always useful!

And if you ever want to spend a few CP on it... a very specialized (probably about 4 CP) version of advanced Blessing would let you equip everyone with a selection of gadgets, rather like Gerad equips everyone with one of his minor "Talismans" (OK, technically Relics, but the Character is not too aware of game terminology...)
