Game Info

This is where I will put inportant information when it becomes available.

Kagegakure - The Village Hidden in the Shadows: This hidden village is located in the Demon Country. Lead by the Kage, the village is a moderate sized village with a population of around 1000 people, although only about 200 of them are active Shinobi. Unlike most of the ninja villages of the world, Kagegakure is actually truly hidden, and its location is one of the most guarded secrets of its shinobi.
The village lies at the heart of a large, dense forest. Around the outer edge of this forest is a ring of villages that serve as an early warning system for the village, as well as supplying it with various provisions in exchange for the protection that the hidden village provides for them.

The Council:
Although technically the Kage is the leader of the village, any major decision that affects the village is discussed and voted on by the Council of Kagegakure. The council consists of the Kage and one member representing each of the four major clans of the village.

Notable Clans:

Chikara Clan: A small clan, consisting of only two families, but one that wields immense power, both in the village, and in skill. It is widely believed that the leader of the clan is more powerful then even the Kage himself, but has no wish to lead the village. The Chikara Clan has a seat on the Kagegakure Council.
Leaders: Lord Akai & Lady Aya
          Council Representative: Lord Akai

Mibu Clan: One of the bigger clans in the village. They are quite powerful, as well as arrogant. They conduct a lot of medical research and are always trying to seek more power in the village. The Mibu Clan has a seat on the Kagegakure Council.
          Leaders: Mibu Akujin
          Council Representative: Mibu Akujin

Suzuki Clan: Although only consisting of just one small family, the Suzuki are one of the oldest and most respected clans in the village. It is said that they represent the Demon Country itself. The Suzuki Clan has a seat on the Kagegakure Council.
          Leaders: Namahage & Isonade
          Council Representative: Namahage

Yajuu Clan: A fair sized clan that specialize in the breading and training of animals to fight along side them in combat. They are also responsiable for maintaining law and order within the village. The Yajuu Clan has a seat on the Kagegakure Council.
          Leaders: Yajuu Hikyuu
          Council Representative: Yajuu Yasei

The Challange:
A major custom in the village is the "Challange". Any shinobi of the village may challange any other shinobi to a contest. The belief behind this is that rivalries between peers breeds strength. The only restrictions are those noted in the village rules, common sense, and that a declaration of challange must be given to the desired opponent before any contest begins.

Rule of the Village:
  • It is forbidden to ever kill another member of the village. There are some exceptions, however self defence is not always a valid one. Punishment is generally death.
  • Permission is required to leave the village, and care must alway be taken to preserve the villages secrecy. Punishment for endangering the village is punished serverly.
  • No active shinobi is excempt from The Challange, reguardless of status or position.

Notable People:

Akane Misa: The Academy home room teacher. All who enter the Academy have her as their main teacher through out it. She teaches all general skills as well as Chakra Control and Ninjutsu. She is a very kind and helpful soul, always willing to help a student in need. However, she can be very scary when angered, so most students try to stay on her good side.

Hogosha Jimu: The Academy physical education teacher. Jimu trains all Academy students in physical skills and Taijutsu. Jimu is a firm believer in hard work, and pushing yourself to the limit, and thats exactly what he puts all his students through.

Maboroshi Kokoro: The Academy genjutsu teacher. She is a very cold and mysterious woman.

Tomoe Kei:

Kuiarasu Akina:

Moto Tokuzen:

Hyuuga Keijiro:

Notable Locations:

Shinobi Academy: This is the place that every young Kagegakure shinobi spends the first two years of their career. It also holds the Kage's office and the Mission Centre where all active shinobi go to collect their missions for the village.

Village Square: The centre point of Kagegakure, the Village Square sees a high amount of traffic as the villagers go about their day to day life. At its heart lies a huge standing ring made of a black metal, with strange engravings carved upon it. The ring is large enough that a large carriage could pass though it without any trouble.

Library: The Kagegakure library is a wealth of knowledge, with texts from all over the world covering almost any topic you could think of. They also have a significant collection of texts from the darker history of the Demon Country, most of which are written in the mmysterious Demonic language, although this section of the library is restricted to anyone below the Chuunin rank or without special permission.

(More to come as the story progresses, and might also depend on player characters backgrounds. Also there are people that you would obviously know, like the kage for example, but I wont put them here until they actually appear in game.)
