Hi, I now it has been too long since I've checked on here but just... er, checking if anyone else was around?

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Happy holidays! :)

By the way if you ever do get that M&M game started Lysandros I'd be happy to take a look. I won't lie I might be a little overbooked with games but I do like this system and I love the setting.

Here is hoping. I would attempt it myself, and almost did. But my eyes have gotten worse, so it is out of the question now..

I think I've taken leave of my senses, but I think I'm ready to try running a Mazes and Minotaurs game for you guys and gals. Anybody still up for it?

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Just sent a PM to Lysandros but thought I'd just make it a public one as well:

I had been contemplating a return since my last post, but my work keeps me traveling a hell of a lot most weeks all over the country. That said, when I was able to be more active some years ago I did enjoy posting/GMing on RPOL in my free time.

I think right now in doing a return it would really be with updates on the weekends only, and maybe during the weekdays (on a day where I find myself at home without the need to travel, which does occasionally happen). I would also probably run a very small group adventure or solo adventure(s) to minimize the GMing aspect of huge groups.

If that is of interest to others then we can do a minimally sized group either with same or new characters in a very relaxed style., e.g, focus less on combat outcomes/rolls vs. adventure part of the system, and just trying to have more fun with the game.

That could be fun. I admit I'm a little thinly stretched myself but there is always time Greek myth. :)

Re: Public OOC Discussion

We will proceed with a small group setting with just Lysandros and Eurenomes and see how that goes for the time being. Again, I'm thinking a pretty relaxed game with the 'game updates' likely on weekends and maybe a minor push or two now and again on some weekdays.

Right now only question I have for you both is if you want to keep your already pre-rolled characters or if you want to start with new ones. I don't care either way, though I will note that Lysandros is still at Level 1, so may bump you up to Level 2 so you are on the same playing field as Eurenomes for starting a new game.

Also, assuming you both keep the same character (or start new ones) what do you think is your backstory? Just briefly, why are you traveling together?

Re: Public OOC Discussion

I was feeling a little bit nostalgic and logged in today per chance. Imagine my joy at seeing some new activity on the group! If you are still planning on starting a new game I would also be interested!

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Looks like Eurenomes last log-in was back in April, so I'll send a PM to him but otherwise may just move things on with him being in the background for now.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Sounds good to me. He did mention on his last post that he was pretty busy. Probably he is not loging in with much frequency but hopefully he won't take too long to notice the game is back on track.

Still around and about -  I wouldn't say no!   Story centered, slower moving is good in my book.     And, it's not as if Grecian themed games have become any easier to find.   ;)

Welcome back, Dysis! Good to see you are still around! Indeed, neither are games using the M&M rules easy to find.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

And good to see you, Mr. Itylus, and your feather of death!

I am perhaps thinking about reworking this character, a little... change of class, maybe.   There's an oracle class in one of the supplements I really like...it's not very adventure-y.  But it is more authentically Grecian.     It might sideline me a bit, in terms of adventuring.   I'd be more of an advisor for you guys, probably.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Hi Dysis! Welcome back! I've added you back as an active player and granted access to the "A" thread.

So, we can either just have you pop in right away with the other three and I'll just edit my opening post in the that thread slightly to indicate that you made it back as well, or if you do want to re-work the character as you indicate that's fine with me too and we can have you meet up with the rest on the way at some point.

Itylus/Lysandros- going to do a game post now, we'll have Eurenomes in the background for the time being.
