Greetings!
If you are interested in becoming a member of this joint effort by the Jedi and the Republic, please read!
1) We will be taking 4, at most 5 (ok I lied, 7) players through this epic space adventure in the Star Wars Saga Edition setting. I am only allowing one Jedi. (Maaaaaybe two, if they're both really good.)
2) This game will take place in the Cold War era, in case you couldn't tell from the Introduction.
3) I require complete, coherent sentences in your writing, accompanied by good spelling and grammar. I expect this in your RTJ, and for it to continue throughout your tenure in this game. I'm not exactly the king of good prose, but I have little tolerance in store for your inability to spellcheck! :D
4) Please post at least 4-5 times per week, preferably more! Less is not necessarily a problem, particularly if your character has little to do at the time. I do understand completely if you get into the game but sudden Real Life things happen that keep you away, just please let me know. I can NPC your character temporarily if needed.
5) We'll be starting at 6th level, so have a background ready! I'm open to lots of things, but I really don't want too many strong/silent types who have 15 different ways to scowl at one another while we all get to infer what's going on from That Look in his or her eyes. (Note that I don't mean you can never do this, just give us more than that once in a while!)
6) No Herglics. Sorry, the galaxy's concept of the door just isn't ready for you yet.
7) Finally, I am still working on the details for the events in the game, but hope to have them ready before too long...so if you don't hear back from me right away, don't give up hope!
Ok, now the actual RTJ stuff!
Please include:
1) Personal Background. Tell me a little bit about yourself, your history with RPGs! Anything from a sentence to a paragraph is fine here.
2) Desired race and class, with alternatives. (e.g., "I'd like to be a Rodian Scoundrel, but could also play a Noble.") I'm going to be working towards a balanced party.
3) Character Background. Your character should have a reason for the Republic military or Jedi to want him or her on this mission. This doesn't have to be too long, and I don't want to have to read a novel. Give me at least 2 paragraphs, at most 5-ish.
