Most of the characters who aren't on the Fisher will probably be dead by the end of this scene, but I think your rendition was marvelous.

Six channels of Olympics coverage.  Track & Field. Water Polo. Boxing. Basketball. Women's soccer (go whoever's playing against the US team). Handball. Freaking handball.

...and not a single channel showing dressage yesterday or today, that I can find.

They should give the horses the medals in equestrian olympic events.

I always wondered if the owners and stuff got a medal too.

...although the riders are insanely good, to do some of the things they do, particularly with the Eventing.  Talk about lacking a sense of self-preservation.

Yayyyy construction equipment.

When I lived in CA, they were building a B&B in the lot right next door.  So not 20 meters away from the window there were workers using loud equipment and listening to loud Mexican accordian music, every day for like three months.  Fun times.

Yeah, pretty much.  I woke up to the caterpillar digging a foundation not ten feet from the window right by my bed.  Nothing like that irritating little *beep*beep*beep* of the thing backing up to ruin a nice, sound sleep.

...and I know that what's worse is for the next three months it'll be hammering. *shudder*

What? The sound of human woodpeckers won't lull you to sleep? ;)
