Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

Ohhhhhhh!

*looks at the link*

I really want to, but I don't have space for another game....do I?

What rules you using? I'm scared to look, otherwise I know I'll join.....and I really shouldn't.

Are you sticking to canon at all or are we playing apart from Shepherd and his crew?

Crap I'm already saying we.

...and here I am, without even a passing knowledge of Mass Effect, beyond gawking at the graphics and the commercials. :(

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

Its a pity you're using the system, which I have no knowledge of and little interest in learning.  Ah well.

Also, Duran, Shepard.

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

Heh, I was tempted to find a picture of a shepherd and a flock of sheep and post it wondering what you meant, but that might have been too much.

Anyway, yeah.  System, bleh.  Otherwise you'd have yourself a Turian, Salarian, or Krogan, depending which was available.

I do find it interesting that so far, I have not received a single RTJ for a human in the other game.

This is why I never play humans in D&D games. *sagenod*

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

Some people think that's a fair trade for an extra feat.  I'm just not one of them. :)

I'd probably play fewer humans in SWSE games if rpol had a better selection of non-human portraits to choose from, although at least there's a plethora of near-Human races to give some variety while still (usually) being able to find a portrait that works.

I've only ever played an Asari sentinel in someone's Mass Effect game.

For some reason, I seem to rarely come up with character concepts that are so feat-heavy that the one freebie feat makes a difference. (With the exception of Jedi. Holy crap, Jedi and feats and talents. *twitch*)  So it seems to work out in the end.

I have a tendency to rogues, rangers and other stealthy types, even worse in pathfinder as everything can be stealthy, and that is sort of ruined by a big flaming torch :D

I do too, but I've played a Dwarven bard before, so I'm good.

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

My strangest combination (apparently, given the reactions I get for it) is Elf Barbarian... which really doesn't seem all that strange to me (nor does Dwarven Bard, really - drinking songs!), but apparently it is.

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

A halfling gladiator isn't really that strange.  The only really 'strange' blends are those that get active penalties to their caster stats.  Half-Orc Wizards, for example.

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

Assuming no one has heard anything from Serina or has any objections (excepting that I've seen the player post elsewhere on rpol) I am going to remove the player from the game tomorrow, NPCing the character and looking for a replacement when it is convenient.

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

We can replace her with a great medical droid just as soon as we find a place that sells them.  Probably be a better medic, anyway, for a mere 4000 credits.

(No, I'm not joking.)

Wait, you mean before discounts, or after?  Cause I can get a discount, believe you me.

Re: Holonet v3 [OOC]

If she is, don't send Duran, leave him by the ship!

He's got to help Ori fix the ship, by holding things and being almost useless...oh wait, did that already.

Okay, he's got to practice his meditation....yes....with help of course...that one.
