Right, so, soon, I'm gonna do a brief timejump which will end the prologue.  Those of you who are a little behind at the moment... don't worry, you're not really missing much.

Speaking of which, whichever of you finishes your second character first will get to appear first.

And by finish, I don't mean the character sheet stuff.  Get me a solid concept and direction, and you can come in.  The character sheet stuff only needs to be done by the time we start doing some rolling.

So, I just realized that the regular classes specifically state in their writeups, when calculating their Force Points, that "Any Force Points left over from previous levels are lost."

ALL of the regular classes state that.  NONE of the prestige classes do.  This leads me to believe that the Force Points gained for prestige classes just add to the character's total, each time they're gained, instead of resetting the total.

...which brings me to the question: How do we calculate how many we have currently available, when dealing with at least one regular class's Force Points (however many survived the last character level in that class) added to multiple levels of prestige classes?

Do we just err on the side of awesome and assume we have a full compliment of Force Points?

Catching this wording is the difference between Gates having 11 Force Points, and having 39 Force Points, if we go with a full compliment, for example... which although that seems -absurd-, it makes a lot more sense when you think about the fact that we won't gain any additional ones until we level.

Random question: Do unarmed attacks count as 'light weapon'?  I can't seem to find anywhere that it says, in the books, but one would think it doesn't get any lighter than not having one at all!

Pretty sure it counts as 'unarmed attack'... or 'natural weapons' if your species has claws.

Well then, let me get a bit more specific: In D&D, weapon finesse (which does the same thing) specifies that Natural Weapons are always considered Light Weapons... but I can't find anything that says one way or another in the Saga books.

Ergo, do my natural weapons count as light weapons, oh ye mighty ewok?

All right, got a proposition for you guys: this initial training session will be done in five simulations.  There's two ways we can do this: run through each one accordingly, or I can make a few rolls and tell you guys how the first few went.  The last one will then be done normally, as it will be the most important.

Your call, just know that the first method will take a fair bit longer, and will end up a tad repetitive, given that the first 4 will be very similar missions.
