I'm posting our first completed character here for two reasons. One so you can see what a complete character looks like, and to show you some of what you can do with MARS specifically.

Disposition: Cantankerous and argumentative. Likes to bicker, moan, and complain - particularly about the cost of things - but ultimately does the right thing.

Background:
These lads came to us from America, said they were fighting some evil murdering scum and we’re looking to “marshall the forces of good” or some shite like that. Of course the general staff turned to us, the 2nd Rangers Battalion of the Auldhame Highland Regiment. We have a volunteer assignment for ye, they said. Although we felt more like it was an order we said ‘what the bloody hell’ and signed on.

After serving in the Highlanders for a few years, providing long range patrols and scouting missions for the Auldhame general staff, McGregor and his mates were sent to America to lend assistance to Tolkeen against the Coalition - along with a big shipment of arms. Fighting was bitter but the highlanders held their own against the Coalition. It was their so called allies they couldn’t handle.

As Tolkeen took increasingly desperate, and despicable efforts the Auldhame Regiment took to the countryside and focused on fighting demons and defending refugees until they could arrange a portal home. The whole experience soured McGregor on idealistic causes, so he says, but when the call went up for Knights of the Eternal City he signed up, grumbling all the way.
