I'm posting on the new pages because the old ones had that awful colour scheme.   I dare not revert just yet although I find the old version easier to use as a player, the new one as a GM.

I don't think it's possible to revert. If you figure out a way, please let us know.

Yngvar, since 2e doesn't have a general "stealth" proficiency, if you're sneaking around as an animal, let me know what you're doing and how cautious you're being, and then roll a d100. Lower is better. Exactly what you would be trying to beat would vary depending on what you are and what might be paying attention.

It does, it's called Move Silently and Hide in Shadows, both are % rolls.  Thieves and Rangers get these, I'm sure I've seen that cats and bears get something like this too if that helps.

Oops, I got confused with my map and which tunnel was leading to the verbeegs hence why I felt that we needed to kill them (I thought they were down the corridor behind the secret door).  My previous IC post may have made less sense because of this confusion.

Question: I memorised Enlarge as I normally consider doubling damage of a fighter for a 1st level spell worthwhile, but if we have nobody to make use of this 'buff', I'll probably memorise something else in the future.  Just let me know if you think that's a useful spell for the party or not. (I could have nearly infinite amount of fun with unseen servant and phantasmal force instead :-) )

If Yngvar goes, he can enlarge if you want, be as big as the giants then. Strength goes up by how much?

IIRC, in AD&D 2e, no strength increase per se, just the damage done by the weapon is increased.

Basically. There's an increase in strength that isn't tied to the Strength score, because 2e didn't have the commitment to defining everything, like 3e. So you just get a flat increase to damage based on the wizard level.

Also, unlike later versions, 2e's Enlarge works on objects, so you don't have to use it on a person if there's something better to make bigger.

Corym is prepared to go where ever Torvek directs, lead off with a Fireball, and follow up with Magic Missiles.

Kitheras will go wherever Torvek directs, Bow, Swords, or Magic Missiles--whatever his preference

If wanting the extra strength, use the Strength Spell.
I love using Unseen Servant, especially to spook monsters or carry my gear lol
