Between exam tomorrow, a project draft due Friday, and internet being on the fritz (on & off) since last Friday (tech coming on Friday to have a look) posting will be erratic until Friday evening, possibly longer depending on web access.

Saturday I was informed that I was not only teaching the sunday morning adult bible class, but also organizing the entire worship service as our minister and all of our elders were going to be coincidentally out of town.

Monday I was committed to seeing a symphony perform in the ballpark after school and public forum debate practice before school. Oh and our school was evaluated by an international body to see if we're adhering to their standards and practices systemically.  This goes on Tuesday as well.

Tuesday the National debate topics were released so we had an impromtu resolutional analysis session at 7:30am, full day of school, after school practice, and a staff party, and then a recital.

Wednesday, I got stuck organizing a participation service at church on the fly because the elders were still out of town. Also, public forum debate practice before school.

Thursday I got to clean my house top to bottom (after LincolnDouglas Debate Practice after school) to prepare for out of town house guests that were coming in Friday after school, after more Public Forum Debate practice and school.

Now the guests are here (got here last night) with their bratty kids (we now have seven people in a three bed two bath house).

And my wife's nine months pregnant.

It's my nightmare week.

Wow, now that's a week. Mine was just spent huddling in bed with a succession of headaches, and I think I got the better of it. Make sure you get some rest, if you can.

I'm heading to Europe for a job interview tomorrow (Monday). I'll be gone for a week. Posting will continue while I'm gone, but will be sporadic.

I know it's for business, but still sounds like an awesome excursion. Have fun, and go get 'em.

Wow, cool - I hope it goes well! Does it happen to be Germany where you are going? If yes, let me know - I am travelling a lot around in the next few days (as I have in the past ten days), passing through/staying in Berlin and Hamburg, for instance.

Just across the border, actually. I'll be visiting the Netherlands for the first time. And yeah, I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm leaving for Alabama tomorrow.  I'll be escorting my Speech and Debate teams to the national tournament in Birmingham.  Should be able to continue as normal, but that depends on what the WiFi is like at the hotel and at the school we're competing at.

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up like I'd like.  My team is doing amazing.  It's my first year coaching, and their first year competing.  One of our debaters is now one of the top four in the nation.  She heads into her semi-final rounds tomorrow at 8am.  I know now that I won't be able to post until I make the 14 hour drive home, please don't advance the plot, I've got a wonderful explanation for Anders III.

Quick note on my availability for the upcoming month. I'm currently participating in an experiential practice rotation (an "internship" of sorts) for full-time hours. In addition, I am continuing with my weekend part-time job. My available hours will be limited, restricted entirely to night times, so my posting will not be in sync with everyone else (less so than most days). Also depending on the day and assignments due, I may have a lapse in my posting days. No major disruptions I don't think. I've already started spacing out assignments.

I will be away till Thursday night (GMT+1) on a quick post-semester holiday - apologies for the short notice!

Already passed 50+ hours at work for the preceding days, have 30+ more to go. And I came down with a cold, perfect timing. Will try to post tomorrow pending mental coherence.

On occasion I've pull those hours before or close to it plenty of times, but having a cold in the middle of it really knocked me out. Coming to the end of it now and had a day off to recharge. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Have a couple of more days then some time off, so the pace is definitely more relaxed now.
