Re: OOC

Added ammo used to the turn summary

Debating how fuzzy we will get on the ammo count. However, it matters more for reloading. Though as turns are 30 seconds you can reload and fire in the same round. Just not as much shooting.

I would appreciate if folks would update their own ammo counts to reflect usage.

In future turns you can say how much you are firing. Morita and HMG could empty a full 100 rounds clip in 30 seconds.

Re: OOC

Two shots one dead sadly and one wounded but out of action, good use of resources I was hoping her low roll would wound the officer. There should be other people in the main building worth capturing.

Well you did say you were aiming for the Officer's chest.

Re: OOC

True but an officer would be a good fighter there is an off chance he would just be WIA. And if they were a PA operator its to important to deprive them of a likely primary asset. I'm not that good a shot to aim for spots.

Re: OOC

I have an idea to take down the PA, if my team mostly aims for the legs they should be able to cripple the armor and keep the operator alive. PA without a leg or maybe two is not going to go far.

Then they can target the power system, other limbs and take the armor down but they will need cover from the buildings.

Re: OOC

Just to be clear
The enemy PA is in melee with Taps (and soon Sony and Haverson). Shooting at him might well hit Taps

There are 10 stray people in open scattering in a panic away from the attacking power suits.

Re: OOC

Well two I don't think the ones heading for the VIP building are going to make it, I have no issue shooting enemies in the back if they get in there and arm they become a bigger threat. >:)

Re: OOC

I've assumed that I've used up my action for this round by signaling and looking around. In retrospect, with 30 seconds, I might still be able to shoot down a few people. If Boomer's left me any that is. ;)

Re: OOC

The more you try to do the more penalties on things.

The less you do the more focused you are.

IF I think you are doing too much I will "park" the post (delete from IC and put in a PM) so we can talk about it.

Re: OOC

30 seconds to fire four shots at two targets, think that is fair for a soldier I'm trying to be reasonable.

Re: OOC

No, I was just inquiring. I figured if I had the leeway I would take further action. It's more about taking sufficient action within a reasonable amount of time rather than trying to cram a dozen actions into a single second.

I was kind of thinking that I was "letting the team down" cause I'm not "knee-capping" anyone.

Re: OOC

I figure cover the VIP building right now is good since the team is trying to take down a PA enemy we need to cover them from counter-attack. I'll be re-locating after this attack. Learned that watching Enemy at the Gates about a great Russian sniper.

Re: OOC

It would probably be safe to say that between Sony(a melee specialist it seems) and Taps(a large man with violence in his blood who has proven he can fight prone in the past) are very likely to take one armored opponent.  Boomer should probably have shot more enemies.

Re: OOC

Most of the rest are in the building that matter around a dozen including likely the base commander, she is not going to let them out without being riddled with AP rounds. They are the biggest other threat. I want them to think twice poking heads out. Likely they will get she has AP rounds and is willing to use them that is why she will be re-locating.

By the way all of you are invited to the wedding after Hell Week of my character to Catherine, it will be a small outdoor mountain wedding very romantic. Then a honeymoon someplace nice and intimate Catherine will be working that out.

As if Wedding Planning is ever that simple.

Hmmm... if I can't come up with a social thread idea in the future I suppose I could marry off one of the other PCs... *looks around*

Re: OOC

Shadow,
Yes, you should always include (based on your best guess) any dice roll you think might apply to the action you want to perform, including any modifiers. It makes things a bit easier for the GM.

Rolling the dice before, or while you are writing, your message allows you to adjust what you have the character doing, depending on the dice results. Like so:

1 worst case
2 very poor
3 poor
4 slightly below average
5 slightly above average
6 good
7 very good
8 best case

If you get anything wrong, the GM will either tell you to correct it, or just adjust it themselves. If you're not sure of the results, you can leave that out, letting the GM post the results.

Re: OOC

Yep yep

That's why the game system is called "Roll One"

Roll the die for the skill(s) and include it in your post. Guessing results is good. GM adjusts in the turn summary.
