Usopi Venia:
Yowza.... maybe we should just retreat fully down to the first cave? I don’t like the idea, but I assumed we were starting this fight at full strength and didn’t consider some of us might already be wounded. :(
I will have Drake do a check on his comrades next time. So that such information is surfaced in a timely manner, and not in such inconvenient circumstance. :D
As for retreat, I am unsure. Perhaps we try holding them here for a few more minutes?
Ok so I will just do some shameless metagaming...:( Sorry GM. I really am actually...sigh...
Lann...you are at least Rank 3 right? You have a ton of spells that can help!!! Serious! :D Can you look at what you can cast?
Silent Warrior?
Imperil?
Illusion?
Havok? These 4 allow you to help the fight immensely without stepping into melee. And if you actually do replace Dann,
Fortune and
Enhancement would greatly improve your effectiveness! And after the fight is won and the enemies neutralized, Lann can break out some healing.
Do you have the Players' Handbook Lann?
Usopi - badly injured. plate armor.
Chlainn - badly injured. plate armor.
Dann - injured. chainmail.
Drake - fresh. leather armor.
Lann - fresh. chainmail.
Brannon - fresh. Bow.
Griff - fresh. Bow.
For the frontline, to hold the 2 enemies back:
Drake should replace Chlainn right now. And if Dann takes one hit, then Lann should replace him. Because (I am guessing) Lann and Drake have the next highest Defence score. And Lann's chainmail armor would be a good boost to his durability.
For overall strategy:
There are only 2 enemies, though they are very tough. Good chance we can overcome them and win. But straight combat is not going to cut it. Unconventional means are needed. Magic is most straight forward - looking at you Lann! :D
If not, then we wait for Aphail and the furs. Once he arrives, we fling the furs on the enemies and light them on fire. That would give some advantage to us. Gotta see if that is enough to win. If not, we will think of and try something else to widen the advantage.
