Re: OOC THREAD 5

Ah maybe I can attack RA with you guys. 3 attacks good chance of dropping him ;)) then we can work on RB etc
I hope we level up after this :) then I will be even more erm.. powerful!
Just realized annihilate works only on rank 8 and below. Bummer!
Still I get to improve my poise ;) making me 5% harder to hit lol

The odds will even out then, just got to keep the shades penned up where the party can see them to hit them, and keep everyone alive.

NO!  RA might be dead already.  GM may have forgotten a hit.  It should have taken -16hp by now.

The Dog needs some healing though.

Thanks - blind, better than dead I suppose. Totally defensless but can only blame myself. Simply underestimated the enemy. Best of luck folks.

There are three concentric walls Aphail is just outside the innermost one about 1m from the dwelling you were sleeping in.

Re: OOC THREAD 5

So our choices are fight outside, gang up and still get cut to bits slowly by damn near impossible to hit shades, or retreat into the house, abandon the sheep, and hope the PCs can last til dawn? Bit rough on the sheep.

Hang on, if the sheep are mostly damaging themselves in panic, then all we have to do is calm them down. I have a crazy, and kinda cheesy idea.

Sing that shepherds song Lann was singing before.
Sheep will listen to Caer, Holt Garam and Kell the way Gat does to Usopi.

Re: OOC THREAD 5

Right... so I'm down to 1 hp, and though my gauntlets keep me conscious to -3, they do 7 damage. I'm dead on another hit, and I've got 2 on me now.... Whelp, guess I'll buy time for the squishies to get to the house.

Caith, if you wanna tell the civvies to sing the song when they get back to yall at the house feel free. I'll probably be dead by then. :P

Edit - lol, their ABR is 1d10+2? holy crap!

Where is everybody and who is in most immediate danger?

GM - is Deise between 3rd and 2nd wall?
Is all of the fighting inside the 3rd wall?
The four shades (RX's) - they are all inside the 3rd wall - correct?
Where are the sheep?
Where is SG?

OK, Caith can stick Usopi back together a bit, and suggest the sing the sheep calm plan  to the NPCs, but she can't light a hearthfire this round, nor cast any offensive spells at the foes either.

Hearthfire lit by a mother in defense of her family better count as sacred hearthfire then, because Caith's got her hands full with psychic surgery by remote and by emergency lighting.

Ok, updated so far;

RA has taken -7hp-3hp-3hp = -13HP

RB has taken -5hp-4hp = -9hp

RC full hp. Running towards Brannon and civvies?

RD has taken -4hp.

Usopi is near death, being healed by Caith

Lann on 50%? He can heal himself.

Aphail has balm for later - thx Beathan

I am down to 4 HP and  I can either risk a roll of 1d4 so I don't die if hit again or waste vitality to restore to 11 hp and then I only can take one more hit
I wonder how many hp they have even our armour is useless

Re: OOC THREAD 5

It's odd, if the sheepkiller has minions like this at their command, then why on earth did they ever leave anyone alive, and just stuck to knocking off sheep?

What do they want? Blood? Animal sacrifices? Feeding off the fear rather than flesh? Power over the valley? Suffering for amusement's sake? Stark raving mad?

It just doesn't make sense, unless they either want one or all of the PCs dead, and don't give a damn about the locals, or they want someone from the family here? But they could have taken them ages ago, long before the PCs showed up.

Yes I know, the party is getting kicked around the farm here, but I still have no idea why.

This is better than all the past torments of terrible rulers of Ereworn, according to Kell. Better in what way? Oh well, not like it helps any in the current situation to speculate.

PS: As this is post #1004, new OOC thread time, Boss?
