Realizing that he cannot overcome this bunch and that discretion is the better part of valor, lann closes the door.

There is a loud thump upon the door but it holds....Lann knows that he has explored everywhere within this area....his only options are the room with the voices that he did not enter or bck into the ritual chamber with the Hellrots and look for another door behind the curtains on the other walls.

Lann proceeds to the door with the voices and listens to see if he can make out the words.

The voices mostly seem to be weeping and moaning though there are snatches of sentences about endless pain and the red nectar.

OOC: Sorry been busy with exams marking and Homebased learning. Erm.. wat are my current HP and MP and active spells?

OOC: Active spells none.  Rest is as your sheet.

OOC: Can I till summon Fae today? Sorry been while.

OOC: Already have today.  But you'll need to find somewhere to rest soon or start getting tired.

Lann casts Heal Injury 2 times and then vaporise and enters the room in his incorporeal state to check the room. He tehn leaves to find a place to rest.

OOC: Is there anywhere safe I know I cn go?

Lann drifts under the door as a vapour and sees a long stone room with a shallow trough running through the centre of it.  At one end of the room is a writhing skinless figure hanging from a chain looped through its torso....blood continuously runs from the figure and into the trough.

Hundreds or malformed and broken shapes drag themselves across the stone; most appear to have once been human but now are missing limbs, bones, organs and their minds.  They constantly whisper and moan in pain as they lap blood from the trough...

OOC: There were rooms you have checked that have doors, you could go in and maybe block the door from the inside.  ie. the room where the experiment was being vivisected had cupboards that you could use to block the door.

Lann almost reteches at the sight. His resolve to rid the wrld of such scum is strengthenedby the sight of innocent turned into subhumans.

He thn leaves to find shelter.

OOC: I go along with the suggested room GM. THank.

Lann makes his way carefully back to the room where the now dead fish-hybrid thing was being vivisected.

He moves the racks over to the door to blockade it and attempts to find some measure of rest...sleep comes only in snatches and even then it is a nightmare of twitching shadows and strange noises.

He wakes once in the night to the sound of heavy shuffling footsteps on the other side of the door accompanied by the sound of scraping metal...but no sounds of breathing.  After a short time the shuffling moves away and he is able to sleep again.

He wakes...not well rested but somewhat refreshed...he knows his only path lies back through the altar room and the horde of Hellions that flaps and crawls there...though perhaps there are more doors hidden behind the drapes there if he is careful...

Realising that he has no choice but to venture through the hordes of hellrots, Lann sighs. He carefully makes his way to the altar room. This time, he wonders if he should just disappear into the mist or call upon the power of the fey to help.

OOC: How many hellrots are there again?

OOC: He didn't get a really good count but about two or three dozen.

Lann prays hard for protection and casts Vaporise. He enters the room and tries to find an exit.

OOC: Gulp! Thats too many... ok i try avoiding them for now. haha this probably needs the rest of the guys to help

Lann drifted into the room as a mist, he could sense the mass of corrupt things on the ceiling above as he moved behind the drapes slowly....eventually he found a solitary other door and slipped under it into the darkness beyond.

In the dark, stairs led down at a steep angle...the air smelled like blood....

Lann follows the stairs down in his mist form

As Lann drifts downward he finds that the floor is black and covered in dried flaky residue...the air reeks of old blood...

As the faint light under the door fades completely, Lann finds himself hovering in utter darkness....he senses he has entered a large open space there is some slight sound of movement around him but he can't tell whats causing it.

OOC: Does eyes of night work in mist form to see the area? Can I sense how many people are in this room? As in one set of movement or?

OOC: Yeah, you can cast Eyes of Night...I mean...I'm gonna rule that you can. Multiple movements. Some on the roof.

Ooc that’s the best way to see around the room right? And I only hear movement and no sound  or voices right? Are there other doors here in this room?

Lann stands just in front of the door in the room and casts eyes night to look around the room.

The red mist that is currently Lann begins to glow with a reddish light which casts out from it in a cone of reddish illumination.

As it scans across the room it reveals the entire room is coated in dry congealed blood, pale naked creatures, four in number, crawl on the walls and ceilings.  They are feral looking ragged looking horrors....they are glaring at the strange mist with shining red eyes and bared fangs.

There is a door in the middle of each wall.

Lann explores the door to the left of him, entering it in his vaporous state.
