Fair enough, I've had a go at a quick run down on the place in the meantime, and mentioning a few of Hallowhall's well known names and faces as well.

Colm Cernach:
So, you saying Sir Grellen and Sir Robert are mercenaries from Albion who were working FOR the Duke?  By their clothes, they have living rough for several months, i.e. since King Corbin took over.  Now they are subsisting as robbers?

Darians been gone for almost two years, it's likely that mob are recent returnees from the crusades going off their convo with Deise.

Hey, I wonder if they ran into any of Baron Jerome D'arbre's crew while they were in outremer... sorry, cross-campaign thinking there. xoD

Speaking of which, I get the vibe that Corbin, Strawberry and the Boar are PCs from a previous Elven Crystals campaign?

Yup.  The Boar was my PC...he was the only one to make it all the way through, Cene and Corbin came in halfway through to replace the fallen lost 12 PCs altogether in that game.

Ah, Dragon Warriors! Don't ever change.

I wonder if Jewelspider will be as lethal?

Though I feel that Oliver Johnson was prone to designing particularly deadly adventures. Thank goodness we aren't following one of his campaigns at the moment!

Oh, wait... ;o)

Is it a different Clothilda? The childhood sweetheart spouse Caith mentioned, and the Innkeeper's daughter from the Elven Crystals that old Ned abducted in a barrel? Sorry to meta I just have to know! Played that one in the 80s.

Nice. I completely missed the reference when we first came past Hallowhall - I hadn't made the link with the fact that we were in Ereworn!

In reply to Brannon Darrow (msg # 22):

I was a bit worried to discover as a player that there was a live Hobgoblin going by the name of Old Ned in Ereworn some time ago.

[Kurgan Voice]"I know his name..."[/Kurgan Voice]

However, if Humans can go around claiming to be live deposed royalty and the lost heir to a throne and title, I suppose Hobgoblins can too, even if it's a case of giving a Hob a bad name. ;)

Re: OOC Thread 7

So I'm thinking we could hire a couple people to lead our animals to Gliss along the roads maybe? Then they'd just reach us a little later? Might be best to keep the calf separated from us for as little as possible? Who knows how the local folk will take to it as it grows what I'm assuming are gonna be full on wings.

Dunno How long it'll be till we're back in Hallowhall.

There will be no wings.

Foal, not calf. ;)

Lol, well then, leave them here if we need to. XD (Though I’ll find/rent space on the boat for the assorted toys I gathered for the wodewose children.)

There are a number of weathered standing stones on the bluffs, though mostly used as wind shelters by shepherds and field hands these days.

Re: OOC Thread 7

In reply to Usopi Venia (msg # 28):

I am assuming as a player that any of the PCs make it back alive from Glissom to collect the animals and cart later on, or that Caith can send word by crow or more conventional messenger to send them later if need be.

And no, the filly foal Dant Hir isn't a winged horse, but is a more or less normal equine of some kind, though Caith's not 100% sure of that herself IC. She's still going to miss them though.

I suspect that Caith may need to go for a quiet walk IC, as sensible grown up witches capable of terrifying armed men away by reputation alone do not sniffle and sob over ponies. Well, not in public view, at least...

Depends if Alphail wants company while he chats with Artia. Caith is in serious need of knowing if something she plans to do is wise or foolish in the eyes of the Lady of the Moon herself.
