Would that be the one at the top of the page under 'Game Map'?

I'm trying to lift the map from the pdf and host it somewhere as a reference but I fail at computer a lot.

Given I'm still trying to figure out how URL links work here, you're not the only one failing at computers at the moment, so don't feel bad.

EDIT:
Hey, you made it work after all! Alright! :)

Re: OOC Thread 7

In reply to Caith Cernach (msg # 43):

Hi gang. Sorry to try and slow things down, can we have an OOC chat about what the plan is while in Glissom.
My understanding is that the Gliss folk are plotting to return their clan to its rightfull place, while the least the Erewornians need is proof that all is not well or the contrary.

What do people believe is the best way to go about either of those? We could hide in plain sight by presenting our credenyials to the Steward, alternatively we could remain underground. I have no preference other than arriving at a consensus on the most effective way forward.

Re: OOC Thread 7

Well, Usopi is basically helping with the clan thing, but as a good thing to do as far as his overarching goal to just help people in need as a symbol of the True Faith.

If you're asking for ideas about how yall should enter the city;

1. The bandit knights gave us one option, Everybody from Ereworn is the traveling house guard for Leofwyn, who is a noble something or other seeking to see the 'world' before inheriting control of her parent's estate or something.

2. You could all just be travelers who met on the road all heading for Gliss to try and escape the social confinement and rigid hierarchy of the southern lands.

3. You could not say anything, since you've only really been ordered to observe, and then if anybody calls you out on it just honestly tell them you didn't necessarily need a noble welcoming party. (Could be construed as spies and get you all hanged?)

4. Just presenting yourself to the steward is possible, but it marks you at as possibly important, and then having you spend a lot of time with two or three specific Gliss folk might make it harder for the whole "Justice for the Clan" thing.

Hmmm... that's all I got. I'm fine with anything. Usopi's plan is to basically just use unassuming friendliness and generosity to give him an excuse to spend time with whoever he can claim is in need. And a friendship with the Gliss people is understandable since they've been roving Glissom helping people "In service to the Temple of Flame".

The spring festival itself might be a reasonable excuse. Even if you aren't followers of Brigantia, you might at least argue that you have come out of cultural curiosity?

Probably best to take the opportunity to orientate, does Brannon know where/how to contact Colm?  Does he want to give Usopi and Leofwyn the bad news about the church? Does he know where Kores shop is?

I don't want to META too much, but Brannon DOES know the answers to these questions.

My preference would be;
The Agents of Ereworn are the travelling Household of Lady Leofwyn, on a Grand Tour of Ellesland before returning to Albion, where Leofwyn will settle down, marry and have children.  Don't mention that you're Agents of Ereworn, as this would probably get you all hung as spies!

We have a reasonable backstory to begin with.
Deise might try and remain in the shadows on the tail of Leofwyn and the Knights.

Re: OOC Thread 7

In all honesty, all of Caith's plans, such as they are, involve making contact with a certain man of mystery she apparently owes a lot of money to while avoiding the attentions of the authorities in Glissom.

In short, Brannon's the man with all the answers as far as she's concerned at the moment, and that's that. Caith may have an air of command in a crisis situation, and the telltale red hair of Clan Cernach, but she's no heir to the manor born, and city politics makes her want to tear her hair out for far too many reasons.

As a player, I'm just trying to figure out if Caith's dyed her hair again, and wearing a different robe to her usual wolfskin warcoat. ILLUSION only lasts so long, so it has to be a physical disguise if she wears one.

On the plus side, if none of the party but Brannon are here in Glissom officially, that does make Brannon the only official authority they have between them and the vagaries of the law.

So lets not get the Hearthwarden into any trouble, or we're all for the gallows faster than you can say 'Passion of Gatenades'.

But I'm all for the plan of Leofwyn being 'escorted' through Ellesland, on her way to Albion. :)

Deise:
Desie nods to the three Knights of U, and addresses Lady Leofwyn,

"Very nice to make your aquaintance mi'Lady and share the journey. Now I must go."

As he leans forward to kiss the hand of the lady, he whispers. "My work is best done alone and in the shadows. I shall watch out and meet ye tonight."

OOC: Deise will spend the day and night getting to know the city. He will look for an inn to stay and meet up with party later at night.

WTF!!!

I thought you were all going to be IN LADY LEOFWYN'S HOUSEHOLD!?!?!?

Ok. I'm sorry if this is a problem for you, genuinely unaware thos would cause difficulties. I had said in a previous post that Deise might hang back (so as to observe the town & try to learn what he can about the steward, the King and the source of power in Glissom. I did say that under the civer of night that I would rendevous with the party.
Look if this is a major issue then let me knkw.

Newly arrived in Glissom to spy on the Steward. Making a pretence that I dont know the Lady and her knights so that we can split up and build evidence in different ways.

OK, I'm just going to go read back a bit, and try and figure out what's going on IC and OOC for myself before I even think about asking any questions.

'Tis the season to be stressed out in reality, I am well aware of that, but Happy Winter/Summer Solstice to you all, depending on which hemisphere you happen to be residing in.

From my POV, I have no problem with this. Corbin's people have their own agenda at the moment - it's not unreasonable that they may wish to do some independent fact-finding. I think Brannon would be OK with this - he's diplomatic enough to realise that the best he can expect from Corbin is wary indulgence, and he's also actively told the truth: so as far as he is concerned anything Deise learns will only confirm what Brannon has said (if only by repeating what he claims are lies...).

Re: OOC Thread 7

OK, as a player, I don't actually see a problem with Deise going off and sussing the city out on the sly. It's what folks of his profession are trained in, among other things.

As a character, Caith might be worried about what might happen to Deise without backup, but self-reliance is also part of the profession's training. Can never be sure of having backup, so it makes sense to plan accordingly.

As for communications? Pretty sure a smart crow can find one man even in a forest of buildings rather than trees, and there are scavenger birds even in cities. Doubt a sparrow could carry a long message, crows got a longer text limit.

Yes, Caith is in disguise as Lady Leofywn's grey haired old nursemaid.
Yes, she still has her wolfskins in her pack, just trying not to attract attention.
No, she didn't know the local church was burnt down and the priest fled, and no, she's not happy about it.
