Art's family has always gotten along well with the weather. If he needs dramatic hair blowing, the spirits normally oblige.

@Zek - Eagle feathers weigh less without the eagle in. Still, the kind of deeds one needs to do to get one feather, plus the fact that they were held to be manifestations of spirit power/favour make that hat heavy in significance. That is a warrior halo.

@TW - That would either be a fantastic coup or a fantastic way to get chased by angry natives.

That is correct. The order is Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs (reverse alphabetical order). So you'll get your action before Nic does.

One of the things I love about this character is making references that absolutely no one else around her will get. That line just makes no sense unless you've heard that song...and doesn't really make sense even with the context.

I spy a Perdition's Daughter reference, though I don't recall Whateleys being involved - at least not in the Classic version. Were they the villains in the Reloaded iteration?

No, the Reloaded update didn't change that. It just updated the rolls and monsters stats to Savage Worlds format. In my campaign, on the other hand...well, who's to say that more than one cult operated out of the Church of the Holy Flame?

Quite true! I asked mainly  because I thought it a neat idea, to better integrate the setting. I like the idea of one off cults  and see the appeal, but also see the value of having it bound to more villains who appear broadly  across the canon.

I'm sketchy on the details, but I think Mother Leeds may have been involved, trying to figure out how to reignite Carstairs' immortality flame in her own quest for eternal life (or, perhaps she replaced Cynthia Carstairs in that scenario). And usually wherever Agatha Leeds shows up, the Whateleys who want do destroy her do, too.

@ Zek: Are you just running through Nic's space as your action? If so, roll me your Running die so I can see how far you get (you're running out of the bar if possible, yes?), because otherwise your normal movement, modified by wounds and standing from prone, is going to put you right in Nic's space
