I don't blame you in the least.  And if shit does hit the fan with the scene, well, we'll be able to make due.

You know what I wish?

I wish we could stop posting in the OOC and just get on with it, heh.

I know, right?

I -did- have to know what Sarah's response was going to be, though, because I just can't react to her without knowing if I want to punch her in the mouth or not.

Oh, in that respect, I agree... but there's no reason I can't get a reply from, say, Kirika in the Crypt or something...

Now, the debate... wait a bit more before posting for El, to either say hi to Kat, or let her get through introductions with others and instead welcome Thea and - once she's done with Sarah - Kirika.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
I might not even make it in tonight with Lyka.

Although I suppose at least I'm not saved from having to come in, and then immediately tell Sevil that Sarah's not welcome at the private party, so his bouncers can escort her out.

I'm still so mad that I don't care, and the gall of that rotten bitch, to imply that my posts are too long, when she can't be bothered to write more than one or two sentences in half of hers...

Well, if it helps, your posts are far from too long.  Gideon's, are what I'd call too long.  It's all about pacing.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
Hell, I can't even manage posts that long, at least not as often as you do over in Battletech.  Part of that might be a more limited knowledge of the lore even than you, since El's less ingrained in it and all, but still.  It's impressive.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
I think it's more that I just have more time to work on them.  Hell, you should see the PM posts. <.<

I get to leisurely post in the morning, when I don't have to worry about trading posts with anyone, which makes it a bit easier to write longer, more descriptive posts.  I do get shorter when I'm going back and forth.

Usually.

What have I told you about those?  If I can't see 'em, stop teasin' me with 'em!  Though, there's nothing stopping you from forwarding them to El over there... nudgenudge...

Anyway, yeah... I put what time I have in, although between work and whatnot, they fall shorter since, well, weariness and time!  Still, I hope I'm keeping up well enough!

Pfft.  I am not forwarding you x-rated PMs!  Besides, Jaina would be able to see that I had forwarded them, and I would get fussed at!

..and double-pfft. El's posts are perfect, and you know it.

Then stop teasing me about them!  You know how I like a well written scene!  Besides, I get no small amount of amusement from the fact that you're the horndog here, and not I!

*laughs!*

Pfft. Only when it does the characters involved justice, thankyouverymuch!

Hm.

I could get the initial club bits copied over, actually, although I'm not sure how well those work as a scene unto themselves.  I'd have to see!  Alternatively, El should just ask Lyka someday how she managed to bag the lieutenant.

It's an amusing tale, involving not having anything to write her number on...

Also, so not linking this up for everyone, because the link is huge, but this is so the dress Lyka will be wearing: http://www.buysku.com/wholesal...-free-size-blue.html

Yes, I know, ridiculously long link.  Nice and casual dress.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
Really now... a pity we never did our characters justice then, hm? *wink*  Although I suppose it is fun to simply leave it at 'everything but', heh.

Well, you can bet he will, once his knowledge of it is cemented... you know, after the backroom party is done with, of course.

As for the dress... sexy.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
I'll blame the tequila for admitting this, but please, just because it didn't get written down in a post, doesn't mean I didn't contemplate exactly how things might have gone. *cough* Ahem. Repeat that, and I'll stab you. Or something.

I do like that dress, though.  It seems Lykaish, without being over the top.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
It shan't leave this room.  Err, topic.  But you're not alone in that.

Since it's only fair to trade admission with admission... the reason I didn't throw this game up for us way back when as Adult (to simply give absolute freedom, if we wanted it) was because that name in the Chamber of Lost Souls is actually a typo of my username.  The incident in question, though, only involved me by association... I was helping GM such a game, but while I was away over a weekend, said fellow GM made the error, and everyone who was basically on the 'staff' of that game got the blacklist.  Which sucked, but what can you do?

So there's that.  Can't run 'em, because of a silly mistake which I can, honestly, only blame myself for, since the fellow I helped out... was prone to mistakes.  Same deal to you though... alcohol, and not being repeated and all!

Aaanyway, yeah.  It does seem quite fitting for Lyka, and if you're worried about over-the-top, you've got Gideon and, to a less ridiculous extent, Aimi both in the room.

*zips lip, tosses away key*  I shan't tell a soul.

(If I had more tequila, I'd say I wouldn't remember in the morning, but well, it's a school night, and I've only got one jar's worth left... what? Yes. I am drinking out of a Mason Jar.  WHATOFIT? <.< )

As a final note, it only means I'd have to hand over the reigns, since I can still participate in 'em.

So, a mason jar, huh?  That's pretty awesome, gotta say.  Be like drinkin' moonshine, without the, you know, poison.  I don't blame you, I've been sipping vodka from the bottle myself!

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
Sadly, I'm out of vodka. *sob*

But I had, like, three of these little testers of high-dollar tequila that came on my last few bottles of Citron.  So I've got them mixed with (don't laugh) limeade and mello yello in my mason jar.

Which, yes, is my favorite glass in the house.  Can't drink the vodka straight, though.  Give me a nice limeade (funny that, I ran out of vodka before limeade, clearly) or a good ruby red grapefruit juice, however...

And yes, it is just like drinking moonshine. Without the toxicity.  Hell, my juice glasses are all jelly jars.  I love jars for drinking.  They're just -cool-.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
Hey, whatever works!  You'd be surprised at the strange cocktails I've made over the years... in the end, all that matters is that it tastes good.

But, yeah, I can, and do enjoy vodka straight, from time to time.  It's basically just a burn really, since it doesn't have much int he way of flavor - any at all, at that.  Even water tastes, vodka just... doesn't.

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
See, to me plain vodka, even good vodka, tastes like potatoes.  I know, that's weird.

I'm not much for straight liquor, unless it's tequila shots, or a nice sipping bourbon.  Gotta have mixers with pretty much everything else.  Also, I should really not have mixed this one without the limeade... (I ran out).  That lime made all the difference.

Speaking of not tasting, though, jesus... Citron and grapefruit juice?  I caught myself downing entire glasses over the weekend, because I couldn't taste it, and then I was like 'fuck, that had vodka in it... didn't it?'

<.<

To which I say: Whoops.  (It was an interesting kid-free Saturday)

Re: Discussion: Once More Unto the Breach
Considering it is made from potatoes, I guess that makes sense!

Oh man, I know what that's like though.  Take about, oh, a half hour or so and you realize, shit, when did I down a case of beer?  Ohhhh waaaaait...

And then things get blurry.

In other news, I just realized... I'm gonna make us a new OOC thread.
