The Afterparty
The group catches their collective breath as they make it out into the alleyway. Hackett's breathing is particularly heavy and labored; his lower back wound made the escape more painful than he'd like to admit. Regardless, they now appear to be safe--as safe as they can be on this level of the Smuggler's Moon.

The wounded, panting Marius looks to the native boy. 'So how do we get this to Kell?'

"Let's get back to my place. You can call him from there," he says, nodding at Jergan, who replies in the affirmative.

"Hope those guards didnt have any families," Hackett mutters. "You recognize them?" He asks of Dell as they begin to walk to the apartment.

Vakin laughs. "Those fucks? Nah, c'sinos aren't really my scene. And don't let the uniforms fool you. When their families sit down for dinner, there's a Hutt at the head of the table."

Re: The Afterparty
As the group continues down the alleyways and side streets, Vakin makes another call to Gax. The four arrive at Vakin's apartment in record time despite Marius's wound; all told, their trip took them only about eight minutes. As soon as they arrive, Jergan asks, "This place secure?"

"Secure 's anywhere around," Vakin sighs as he tosses himself onto his favorite bunk. He curls up into a fetal position facing the wall.

Jergan rolls his eyes. "Guess I'll call Kell in a bit then. Maybe after Gax is finished with you," he says, nodding at Marius.

After about twenty minutes, the Ugnaught arrives, sighs, and ministers to Marius. He then departs after exchanging some Huttese with Jergan.

"So what did we steal back there?" Marius asks, eyeing the Twi'lek.

Re: The Afterparty
The Twi'lek grins very widely. "A lot. It's all encrypted, though, so Kell's boys are going to have to put in some serious effort to get at the contents."

As he says that, he opens the channel to your Klatooinian contact, and Kell's visage hovers above Kalnas's outstretched arm. Vakin shakes himself up off the bed and stumbles to his feet nearby.

"I heard some shit went down at the Smuggler's Star. I take it you boys got what you came for?"

"Indeed we did. We'll have to expense some medical costs, though."

"That's fine, you all look like you aren't costing Jondo too much. Come by his warehouse in the morning to make the transfer. Kell out," he says curtly, not waiting for a response.

Re: The Afterparty
It is immediately obvious to both Grick Pur-Yi and Hackett that Kalnas is a little too excited when he says what he found. He's clearly hiding something.

The Twi'lek smiles sheepishly. "Annnd . . . I know exactly how hard they're going to have to work to get at the contents because, well, I did it." His smile vanishes. "Don't tell Kell. I wasn't supposed to."

The Jawa nods, shrugs, and begins gathering up the blaster carbines, calling his mouse droid over to help carry all the weapons. If unimpeded he will go to the spot with the best lighting in the room and begin to tinker with the weapons, looking for ways to improve them.

Re: The Afterparty
Jergan grins back at him. "Don't worry, I'll let you know if I find anything. But it took me pretty much the whole time since we got back to crack it; I haven't had a chance to look at the actual data yet." He looks down at his slicer-gauntlet and sighs. "It'll probably take me hours or days to look through the whole thing, but I have a few ideas of directories to prioritize."

The Jawa wishes that Vakin had spent a little more on lighting, but he sets up next to the filthy sink and gets to work.

The Jawa tinkers enough to improve the damage of one of the carbines, doing as much as he can in two hours before he needs to sleep. After all the day's excitement, he is a sleepy Jawa.

Hackett nods, satisfied, and chooses a spot to sleep, not even bothering to unholster his blaster from his belt. With his wound and the recovery therefrom taking its toll on his body, he passes out quite quickly.

Re: The Afterparty
As Grick Pur-Yi finds a comfortable spot in his (relatively) colossal bed, he sees Kalnas still furiously working on his slicer-gauntlet, his face bathed in light blue glow in the otherwise dark room.

Just as the Jawa begins to doze off, he hears an odd noise. Sleepily looking around the room for its source, he sees Jergan looking with concern at Vakin, who appears to be sobbing profusely and muttering, "I'm sorry," over and over again, to no one in particular. The tattooed human is still curled up in the fetal position, facing the wall, preventing either alien from seeing his face. Hackett, however, is sleeping deeply, his mind and body thoroughly depleted from the day's exertions.

Re: The Afterparty
Grick Pur-Yi listens to Vakin for a while--it's difficult to tell how long--before the human eventually stops crying and falls into a deep sleep.
