Sam shook his head, "What are you talking about ? Who screwed everything up ?"

Zoey took a deep breath and started at the beginning with Rory being kidnapped, tracing his phone to Smallville, Kansas.  Then she went on to tell him about going to Pluto and finding Clark chained to a rock and fighting off the giant bugs and other alien nasties.  "Clark is the one I was trying to call earlier.  His mom told me I might be in danger now.  They were probably watching her still."  She left out any parts of the others using magic, keeping their secrets.

Zoey finished telling Sam about meeting the guy in the green pajamas, and that he was the one they all believed screwed everything up. "He cast a mind control thing on us, and the next day everything is screwed up.  Sam, nobody knew about Atlantis or aliens, or magic three weeks ago.  Now suddenly the whole world knows about us and we're on everybody's hit lists."

Sam blinked, "What are you talking about ? We have known for years about all those things, they teach it in school. Some jerk in green pajamas used mind control on you ?"

He shook his head not knowing what to think of what Zoey just said.

Zoey looked at Sam with tears streaming down her face, "And that is where the arguments start.  Rory and I don't seem to be affected by the Green Guy's mind control.  Him and I have the same memories, of everything that has happened.  Even Allura is starting to remember stuff.  I've tried getting a hold of Hal, he was there too, to see what he remembers but he's not answering his phone."

Rory left the two some privacy, though turned his attention back to them when they mentioned school. "Sorry to interrupt. Sam, what were you doing last Saturday?"

Sam looks up, "Probably homework or playing in the band, speaking of where is Allura ?"

Rory pressed on. "Are you sure? I thought that the band had been taking some time off the last couple of weeks?"

Sam said with a laugh, "Yeah I am pretty sure, I am the drummer after all. Wait did this guy in the pajamas mess with your mind too ?"

"I thought you had football practice last weekend? Isn't the last game of the season against Innsmouth coming up?"  Zoey looked puzzled and shook her head.

She looked to Rory, "Rory, do you think you could try to locate the guy?  You know, with your genius mind and stuff, and GPS?"

"You're right we need to help him. Besides, I would like to know what he remembers. I can use my phone to access my hardware and see what I can uncover." Rory offered Zoey a wink, facing in a direction that Sam would miss.

He then mentally focused on detecting Clark.

OoC: Rory spends a plot point to try and locate Clark using telepathy.

Rory gets a brief flash of Clark in a barn star gazing. A strong feeling that he is in Smallville Kansas. As the town sign for Smallville is in the image. With the population and below it Meteor Capitol of the World.

After typing on his phone for a bit, Rory turned to Zoey. "Something is wrong Zoey. My software puts Clark in Kansas at the farm. I even have a satellite image of him at the farm. It's like what happened when I tried to find Hal. I am starting to think that all of this might be an illusion or something, none of it makes sense."

Zoey leaned into Sam's embrace and looked at Rory puzzled.  "That doesn't make sense, you're right.  His mom said he had been taken by the government.  Sam, would you call Hal and see if you can get ahold of him?"

Sam looked at Zoey, "I don't have his number."

Rory seemed thoughtful. "I know that this is a long shot but if this is an illusion, maybe we will be able to find a way around it in the library."

Zoey handed Sam her phone, "I have it, but call from your phone.  He hasn't been answering mine."

She looked to Rory thoughtfully and nodded, "Can you ask your dad to look?"

Sam shrugged and used Zoey's phone to punch Hal's number into his own cellphone.

"Why do you think he isn't answering your calls ?" Sam asked her as he listened on the phone. After a few moments he says, "Not just you that he isn't taking calls from, He isn't answering."

Zoey shrugged at Sam's question and frowned when he didn't get an answer either. "I don't know what's going with him lately.  The last time we talked was when Susan spoke up in class that day."

Susan had gone off a bit by herself, but then came back to the others.
"I need to take off, everyone.  Allura just called me, saying that she had some ideas about fixing everything, and that I should come to her to talk about it.   She said for just me to come, so it's probably something magical.   And she must be up to her elbows in research, too.  She said to just find her with magic, rather than saying where she was.   It must be something important and distracting, I guess.   Anyway, I'll check in with you guys when I know more."

She shrugged and headed to her SUV.

Zoey looked at Susan surprised that she had let slip her secret in front of Sam.  She shook herself clear, blinked a few times and waved to Susan as she left.  "Well we know where Allura is now.  But what do we do about Hal and Clark?  I know Clark isn't in Kansas in some barn, his mother told me that much.  And I haven't heard from Hal in days I think.  We know he wasn't in science class today either."

She sighed deeply resting her head on Sam's shoulder sniffled.  "Sam, things weren't like this before.  I swear it, something got messed up bad."  Zoey looked down at Otto and smiled "I don't suppose you know how to get to Atlantis from here, do you?" It was asked mostly in jest.

Otto shook his head ass he looked up at Zoey.

She smiled with a shrug, "I didn't think so.  How about Denner or Sir Havren?  Are they around still?"

How much was really different now?

Otto just tilts his head looking up at her.

Sam looks a bit confused, "Who are those people Zoey ?"

Zoey sighed, "Denner is the first Atlantean I met anf Sir Havren is a Knight of Posiedon.  Denner knew my parents."

She looked at Sam sadly,  "He knew my real parents I mean.  He's helped me a few times, told me about them.   Denner was friends with my parents years ago before they left the waters to live on land.  Then one day something happened and they left me on a doorstep with my necklace.  My parents sacrificed themselves to save me and the rest of the world from something.  A fat lot of good it did them."

Zoey buried her head in her knees and cried quietly in Sam's arms.
