Susan shook her head.
"It's not that they'll 'help', but that they are an obstacle that i might need to overcome to get home.  To 'heal' whatever i did to get here."

"Oh.  Well whatever we can do to help you Suze, you can count on us."

"Yeah all for one and one for all !" Allura said smiling to Susan.

Susan shrugged.
"Well, there are two possibilites I can think of.   One, to do something to expose myself to the authorities.  That drew out a witch, though I never found out who she was.   Or we can try to find them with magic, which could be tough, too."

"How can we help ?"

"I could ask the gulls to look around too.  They can cover more ground."

Susan nodded, then blinked in surprise, doing a double take.
"Wait...you can talk to SEAGULLS now??  When did that start??"

Zoey laughed at Susan's reaction "I can speak to all marine creatures.  Seagulls are a sea bird, so I can talk to them too."

The audience would see Susan looking at Zoey suspiciously,  as if the the pretty mermaid were making a joke at her expense,  then seemed to decide it was too weird to be a lie.
"Well, that's a start.  I could also cast some magic to see if I can find them, though at least one of them is better than I am."

Zoey shook her head, "She's not better than you Susan.  She's just a different version of yourself that you need to figure out."

Susan nodded, still troubled.
"Okay, I'll use my magic to try to find them, you talk to your birds."

OOC: Alright Susan you realize you need more skill at magic to perform something outside your specialty. In game terms you need to improve your magical heritage slightly.  Zoey all you need to do is get to a beach. Though what will you ask the birds to look for since you never saw the other witches ?

I will ask them to look for anyone that looks like Susan. Or bring her to the beach with me.

Susan joined Zoey as she got ready to go to the beach.   She was thinking hard.
"A witch, though I don't know if it was one of the two I saw before, stopped me from turning myself into the police, so perhaps a huge display of magic on the beach might draw them out."

Zoey frowned nervously at Susan's idean "Lets try the birds first.  If they cant find them then you can do your big display."

Zoey You send them out they scatter and go flying off.

After what seems like hours Zoey spots two women who fit Susan's description and her own appearance through the eyes of one of her gulls. It looks like they are at a cafe chatting.

"Wow.  They really do look like you.  Well I can ask the gull to follow them until we catch up, but right now they are at a café talking."

Susan scowled and nodded, not happy.
"A Cafe?  How adorable."
 She muttered the words sarcastically.
"Okay, let's go 'chat' then."

Zoey looked at the two women through gull eyes, "You drive and I will keep an eye on them.  The seagull will follow them if they leave."

"What do you two need me to do ?"

Starting the SUV, Susan drove them into town.  She spoke to Allura.
"You're our back up. We'll need all the help we can get.  I'll try to talk to them, and you two will be there if things fall apart.""

One question then ending scene, is Rory going with the girls ?
