Zoey nodded and looked over her shoulder at the three brunettes.  "Susan has the best parties."

Helena, "Oh she has claws, clip clip."

Greselda leaned over, "Magic my dear, powerful magic not mere tricks but your true potential."

Susan shrugged, trying to look bored.
"and what IS my true potential? "

Helena shrugged, "You'll never learn it with that attitude. C'mon Gres let's go. This one is being a real meany head."

Greselda, "What did you expect Helena, Now Susan Helena is right if you don't want to learn anything and bask in ignorance that's up to you. Your potential is greater then anything you have displayed so far."

Susan raised an eyebrow, trying to hide her nervousness.
"That's the problem.  You keep throwing around that word 'potential', as if it's the ultimate goal, and as if it meant anything on its own.   If my 'ultimate potential' is to be an evil witch who kidnaps some people and bullies others, then I'll pass.  I don't have any reason to think that the 'potential' you two have in mind is something I want.  I'll need more information."

Helena smiles, "Don't be silly it's not all about that, but one doesn't achieve greatness by doing nothing and being faux obstinate. Not even me."

Greselda, "Susan potential is everyone's goal but many fall short of it. Some never even come close. You have a chance right now to take steps towards your potential. After all as you are now you can't solve your current dilemmas now can you ?"

Susan sighed impatiently.
"And there you go again, avoiding my questions.  and what, pray tell, is my current dilemma?"

Helena gets up and heads to talk to a waitress.

Greselda looks squarely at Susan, "If you don't even know that, then you really do need our help. Look sweety your just playing games yourself. Puffing up with false confidence doesn't suit you. You know your dilemma. You want to solve it or you wouldn't be here now."  Greselda too rose.

Susan sighed and shrugged.
"Okay, fair point.  What do you have in mind?   I'm not going to have to think about the sound of one hand clapping or anything, am i?"

Greselda stopped a moment a small smile played at her lips that looked genuine.

Then she gave a deep throated cackle, "No I won't ask you to bend a spoon."

"Come with us and we will help you out. While there is some introspection I like to focus on achievable results more then... hocus pocus."

Susan stood, still dubious.
"Okay, where are we going?  And what do you have in mind?"

Greselda, "Why were going to head someplace to perform a little ritual. You will recognize the place when we get there. You have been there before."

Susan rolled her eyes.
"What kind of ritual?  You know, when you get all cryptic like this, it's the opposite of making me want to trust you."

Zoey watched as Susan and her twin selves stood, then concentrated on connecting with the gulls again.  "Do you see them?  Follow them please, don't lose them."

She looked at Allura and Rory, "One of you want to call Sam or Hal for a ride?"

"I'll call Sam, though he has been acting pretty weird here."

Allura looks for her cellphone.

"Where the heck is it ?"

"What do you mean he's been acting weird?  He seemed fine to me."  Zoey shrugged, "Maybe you left it in Susan's car?"

"Maybe or those witches took it.  I just mean he doesn't remember the band or anything."

"How would they have taken your phone Allura?  It's just got to be this place, you know?  Not everything is the way we remember it should be, but there are still some similarities.  At least he remembers we're still together."

Glancing back at the tree witches again, Zoey sighed and slid her phone to Allura.  "Here, just use mine.  We can call your phone after to see if you dropped it or if someone took it."

Allura nods and calls Sam.

"Your little mermaid ? No this is Allura I am borrowing Zoey's phone. We would like to know if you could come pick us up." Allura looks over to Zoey.

Zoey laughed and blushed lightly. "It's cute, I like it."

Deciding to throw caution to the wind,  Susan got up and followed the odd pair out of the coffee shop.

Whispered on the wind, "Be careful my dear."

" _{.....yeah, no kidding,  Dick Tracy......} "

Susan feels an ethereal smack to the back of her head then her Bubbee Kappy is gone.
