Rory turned to Susan. "I think that Zoey and Allura are in trouble. They seem to be fighting something. We should find them."

Susan nodded, and looking around nervously, obviously trying to drive faster without attracting attention.
"Is there any way to find them?"

Rory seemed worried. "I can probably locate them."

With that said, he tried focusing on locating Zoey.

OoC: Rory will spend a plot point to locate Zoey.

Rory has a feeling the two are under deep ocean waters and he gets a sense of where they are another flash of them fighting something even more hideous then the creatures of Chrysalis. He gets a brief flash of a Shoggoth and somehow feels not scared of it but mindful as if some ancient memory surfaced that the things were horrendously strong and hard to kill.

Rory was about to rush out of the door but sat back down in resignation and turned to Susan. "Apparently, they're in Atlantis. Unless you have a spare submarine you've been hiding from me, it seems like there isn't much we can do about it."

Susan blinked in surprise, turning to look at Rory askance.
"Atlantis?!?   How in the world did they both get there???  What, is there an express service from here or something?"
Looking back at the road, the pretty brunette bit her lip, narrowing her brown eyes as she thought.
"Honestly, I might be able to rig up something, but....it would take some time.  A stone golem we could ride inside of, along with scuba gear perhaps, might work..."
Then she shrugged, the idea sounding far fetched and ludicrous even to her, though she clearly was still considering it.
"Can I assume Zoey didn't take Allura there for some peace and quiet?"

You could make a Value + Relationship + Wealthy roll to get Scubs gear or perhaps rent a sub ^_^

Pulling over to the side of the road, Susan started making calls on her cell phone to some of the more eccentric investment areas her father had ventured into recently, including a sub rental service for rich adventurer/tourists.

Hmm you might want to spend a plot point to add all of those together, or to reroll a die using your wealthy trigger.

Susan tried to find someone who didn't mind a generous tip in exchange for not asking questions.

14:57, Today: Watchtower rolled 4 using 2d6. Trouble Dice.  rolled a 1 so you found some type that will lend you a sub without a paper trail. Someone who might pop up later in the series ^_^

A few calls later and Susan has secured the sub.

Rory seemed impressed but couldn't help making a sarcastic remark. "Hum Susan... You know, I was joking when I asked if you had a sub hidden in your basement."

Hanging up the phone, Susan smiled impishly at Rory.
"Magic is very cool, but having money is the best superpower.    Okay, our chariot awaits...."

She took a left and headed to the docks.

Rory laughed. "Very well my Lady."

Transition scene to the  two entering the hatch of a submarine a small scientific sub.
With Susan at the controls.

Holding the control manual and reading it carefully,  Susan started up the sub.  She was biting her lip in concentration, her big brown eyes focused on what she was doing.
"My father thinks that 'recreational submarining' is still months away, if not years, but I read the manual carefully, hoping I could finagle a test drive.   I didn't realize it would be this soon, of course. "
She chuckled ruefully,  looking nervous but determined

"It's a nice submarine you have here." Rory was looking around clearly impressed by the device. "It's funny for all our magical might, we end up relying on good old fashioned technology."

Susan chuckled.
"There's nothing 'old fashioned' about this sub, big guy.  it's cutting edge technology from Wayne tech.  It's one of the most advanced machines in the city at the moment. "
Then she smiled and shrugged.
"I'll. admit I considered making a 'submarine golem', but we'll save that for plan B."

Some large radar blips appear on Susan's monitor.

Susan was still smiling at her handsome passenger when the the radar started to ping.  She looked at it in momentary confusion, like it was broken or something,  then her big brown eyes got even larger with surprise.
"Whah oh!!!  I think there's something out there.....Holy Moley!  Several somethings! "
She looked at the instruments,biting her lip in concerned concentration, as she read the panels.

The sub rocks in the water for a few moments before steadying itself.

Out of the window Susan sees something and she can really only describe it as a something as her mind tries to deal with the rolling mass of flesh, eyes and organs that flow past.

Rory on the other hand feels fine and though he sees something past Susan he is able to deal with seeing it without any problems.

Susan looked out the porthole.
"Hey!  I think there's something out.....EEHHGGGHHH!!!  What IS that?!??!?"

She wasn't sure whether to be horrified or disgusted.

Rory chuckled as Susan noted that the sub was state of the art. "I've clearly spent too much time around alien tech. Hopefully, it's not contagious in other ways."

He shrugged as Susan pointed out of the window. "Not sure, maybe an overgrown fish or something."

Susan gave Rory and almost accusatory glance.
"Just an overgrown fish or something???  Are you just trying to humor me so I won't freak out, or do you honestly not see how insane this thing looks?"

Fade to black... End Scene
