Rory and Allura arrive at the monastary.

"Interesting place, remind me to call on you when we need a haunted house for a movie or something Rory."

Rory gave Allura a small smile. "You don't know the half of it. Hum... Just so you know, they don't like strangers much so I am happy to go it alone from here if you prefer?"

Allura shrugged a bit, "No big, I am not really a church goer."

~That's for damn sure~

"Give a call when you want to head home."

Rory nodded. "Thanks Allura."

He then proceeded to enter the temple in search of Vidya.

As Allura heads off on her motorcycle Rory's Mentor comes over.

"Who was that girl on the bike ?"

~Something unwholesome about her~

"A school friend, I would have come alone but well..." Rory seemed slightly uncomfortable, rubbing the back of his neck. "Something happened to me."

His mentor motions for him to enter.

"What happened ?"

~Another thing adding chaos to the city~

Rory took a deep breath. " I can hear everyone's thoughts as if they were on loudspeaker... I can't turn it off."

"Everyone's thoughts ?"

~Perhaps this could be used to our advantage~

"Do you mean just people you speak with or every passing person on the street ?"

Rory's mentor lead him to a quiet meditation room.

Rory followed his mentor. "Everyone's. It's hard to focus when there are too many people around."

"That seems like it must be a burden." they shake their head.

This could be useful at some point.

"Alright let us try some meditation to get things under control for you."

Rory nodded as he followed his mentor. "Yes, hopefully some meditation will help."
