Susan raised an eyebrow and shuddered a bit.
"He sounds like a real winner.  Hopefully we can find out how to beat him."

Rory nodded in agreement. "Let's head to the restricted section."

With that said, Rory began making his way to the restricted section of the library.

Entering the restricted section they both immediately feel weird like stepping into another world. The audience sees the library but in a cloudy dreamlike way.

Susan looked around, alarmed.
"Rory, please tell me that this is some new Harry Potteresque security system that you father installed?"

She tried to analyze what was happening.

Susan feels that the restricted Library has become a pocket dimension and that it is growing.

Rory looked around suspiciously. "Not as far as I know..."

Susan looked around suspiciously.
"This whole area looks like it's become some kind of an alternate dimension, outside of Earth, and it's getting bigger."

Rory frowned. "Yeah, it isn't looking good."

He dried addressing the pharoh. ~Is this your doing?~

Rory receives no reply.

Rory seemed thoughtful. "Wait do you think that this is our powers going out of control again? I don't think that I can do anything like this. Can you?"

Susan raised an incredulous eyebrow.
"Seriously?  I WISH I could pull something like this out of my tuckus.  Hold on, let me take a look. "

She tried to analyze the pocket.

Susan can see various auras and glows they seemed to be getting pulled into the room and not just from outside the room but within coming from herself and Rory and going into a book. It seemed that their elemental powers were going into the creation of this little but growing subrealm.

Susan gasped
"There's a book in there that's powering everything.    And it's getting it's power from all around us, including you and I!   We need to stop it."

Rory looked around unable to determine the book that Susan was referring to. "Which book are we talking about."

Susan tried to point out the book her magic had indicated,  without getting too close

Susan is able to point out the book that she had read from earlier. How it got back here is anyones guess.

Susan had been distracted by the situation,  but now recognized the book.
"Hey!  is that that same stupid book!?!"

The book loomed large before them both of their energy poring from them into it.

Rory approached the book and attempted to destroy it using his Bracers.

Ability: Spend on Plot Point to Destroy an object.

The Blast hits the book and their is an explosion that knocks Rory and Susan back and against the wall of the private library.

The book slams shut and the power that had been streaming into it rushed back into Rory and Susan.

Despite the home exercise that her mother makes her do, Susan felt like a ragdoll that had been shaken by a dog as she tried to get up.
"What....what happened??"

She tried to analyze the situation, to see if it had improved or worsened.

Rory got up shaking his head. "Sorry, I went ahead and blasted the book before it was too late."

OoC: I know that we should be moving towards the tag scenes but it made sense to answer the question.

Susan nodded.
"It's probably for the best."

She examined the area, to make sure it was safe.

Strangely the book is still there but it is closed and no longer does Susan see the connection.
