The police officer takes off his hat and rubs his temples, "Thought there was a school shooter, turns out a bunch of people in rubber costumes attacked the school dressed up like monsters. I don't know the whole story but only a few students were hurt not sure if it was part of some teen show or exactly what miss. Listen with all the shootings that have taken place in our country we respond to these calls very seriously, so do me a favor. Tell whoever did this publicity stunt it's not appreciated."

“You got it, Sir.” She went back to her friends.

Zoey took out her phone and texted Sam ~are you alright?~

“He said it was a hoax, but someone, or something, attacked the school. The cop said it was people in rubber monster suits.” She looked concerned.

Sam Clay ~Im alright, some monsters attacked scary as hell. The kind of things you guys deal with.~

Zoey sighed looking at her phone.  “Sam just confirmed it. There were monsters here. We should go look for them and take care of them.”

Susan frowned in annoyed confusion
"Wait...what??  The 'fake' monsters were actually real?  Then why did they leave?  What happened. exactly?"

If there was a way to do it covertly,  Susan would try to cast a minor spell to track down magic

Zoey shook her head .  “I don’t know, but maybe that’s a good thing.  If they left they’re not here, and we can go hunt them down and deal with them.”

Susan frowned and shrugged.
<Lavender>"Well, I'm glad that they were such bush league monsters that High School was too much for them, but I don't like the idea of mysterious monsters running around.  They might try harder next time. "<Lavender>

“All the more reason to hunt them down now.”

Susan doesnt detect any magic at the school but she does feel a distant weak pulse of Allura's magic.

Susan gasped lightly and looked at Zoey
"Holy crap!  I sense......Allura???   Come on!!!"
She headed in that direction

As Susan heads to her SUV she sees her mother there a look of concern etched on her face.

She runs over and hugs Susan.
"I am so glad your ok. I came as soon as I heard on the news."

Susan put on her poker face and smiled go with gratitude at her mothers interference and hovering
"Luckily, me and my friends were outside,  looking for one of my lost textbooks in the car.  When we heard the trouble. we stayed out here where it was safe. and we missed everything.

Susans mother laughs nervously.
"Here I didn't want to call because I thought you might be hiding and didn't want to give your location away."

She shook her head,"I am glad you are all alright too. Susan is coming home now, if you haven't already call your parents and let the m know your ok."

Susan frowned but tried to stay sweet and helpful
"Well,  actually, it turned out to be just a prank.  Lots of people were convinced by some good costumes, but now there's some people saying that it was just some local people trying to scare everyone to get on TV.  It's okay, Mother.  There's nothing to worry about. "

She tried to convince her mother that the danger was over

Susans mom,"A hoax ! With all the real school shootings and other violence." she fans herself.

"I should be relieved but Im angry now. You sure you will be ok ?"

She relents.

Susan nodded, trying to look grateful to have such an interfering.....or rather, such a caring mother
"We think everything is fine now.   But thank you for checking on us.  It makes me happy to know you're always there for me.  I promise I'll be home early tonight"

Susan's mother hugs Susan again and then gets back in her BMW and drives off.

Zoey smiled politely at Susan’s mother as she drove away, then faced her friends.  “Let’s go find Allura now. Which way Suze?”

Susan let out a breath she hadn't realized that she was holding,  and let everyone into her SUV.
"I think I know the way.  Let's go...."
She tried to head in the right direction

“Shotgun!”  Zoey climbed into the front seat next to Susan and smiled at Rory.

“I hope we can find her.”

Susan drove towards the magical readings

Does Rory join them or stay at the school ?

Rory joined the others in their search for Allura.

As the group drives off the scene ends
