Oh, a planet under permanent reverse gravity, that should be fun, we'll be flying to the void in no time, and I think Mirelinda is the only one who actually like it there.

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

The entire plane, really... You haven't quite separated the heavens from the earth yet: Meteor Swarm did act as a suggestion in that sense, but reverse gravity is going to make for all sorts of wonky physics, with planets that repel each other rather than attracting each other...

Is Helmut's "let there be light" cast at CL 20?

And the Tsunami will do well in separating water from water...

You are doing pretty well on the timetable, you are just all going to die horribly while doing so. Create Water would have sufficed, really.

There isn't any void.  Or, if there is, we are already stepping on it.

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

Player knowledge, not character knowledge: you just caused the void to come into existence by casting meteor swarm :)

And Helmut's daylight works, but it doesn't cause any effect on the plane(t).

Actually, it's 1/day, so it doesn't work as he already used it before, but you didn't see any change then either.

And on the first day, Mirelinda the Creator spoke and said "Let there be diamond dust." And then she spoke again, saying "Give me more !". And so it came to pass that all the beaches in the world are made of diamond dust for sand :)

So I rolled Initiative on Pale's behalf... And the dragon is still going first. Anyone missing? I didn't think the first combat would be amongst ourselves, nor that Zhorr would be sitting it out...

Can I check what the point of Disjunction was? Pale doesn't have any magic items and it does not seem to work on spells.

So, I take it you fellows would rather Pale didn't cast? A quick polite word before he finishes his last syllable could suffice...

I think that "Stop, that Pale! You will flood the entire place and ruin all of the equipment that we have." Counts.

It would also end any spell effects that you had going for 20 minutes. The Druid ability is a spell and is not EX so it can be disrupted.

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

Well, it's not instantaneous, it's min/level, so you could read it as "it stops all magic effects within the area for the duration". AMF, except meaner.

Incidentally, when I mentioned to Sider that the CL for the Endure Elements on you was 40 "should it matter", I didn't think somebody would cast mage's disjunction at it...

Not out of the woods yet... Check the IC thread something got a wake-up call ;)

As for our casters, both Tsunami and Mage's disjunction are spent. Sider, you may complete the casting or interrupt the spell halfway through as Pale did.

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

Well, I would suggest using a miracle, the expensive version (who cares about a few handful of diamond dust, I have plenty more blood in my veins), to revive Zhorr, except... given what has been happening, that would probably make things worse.

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

Speaking of level 1 cleric spells, can we learn the lvl 1 bonus spells for our domains as part of them ? As it happens, neither of my bonus spells are normally on the cleric list (longstrider and feather fall).

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

I don't see why not, but you have to prepare them in your domain slot as normal.

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

AFAIK the bonus spells can not be used in the regular slots.

Per Pathfinder SRD for Clerics/Domains. (added the underline)
"Each domain grants a number of domain powers, dependent upon the level of the cleric, as well as a number of bonus spells. A cleric gains one domain spell slot for each level of cleric spell she can cast, from 1st on up. Each day, a cleric can prepare one of the spells from her two domains in that slot. If a domain spell is not on the cleric spell list, a cleric can prepare it only in her domain spell slot. Domain spells cannot be used to cast spells spontaneously."

Don't feel too bad, I can already do the both of the 1st level domains spells as abilities.

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

Well, of course, but the other face of that is that only domain spells can be prepared in the domain slot, so if I couldn't learn them I couldn't use my domain slot.

Not that a lvl 1 cleric spell is going to have much impact on a lvl 20 sorceress one way or another...

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

That does seem unlikely... Nonetheless, you will get WIS spells for each (spell) level with each (class) level, so if you want to include domain spells in there you can certainly do that.

The other powers from your cleric class will eventually start to work as well.

Just got home, but yes, this is why I asked people for diamond dust.  I was trying to roleplay it a little.

In fact, Tilly already said that she knows what to do:

Tilly:
Tilly looks him over and says, "His very essence has been drained, almost completely.  There is a spell to restore him, but we need some of the diamond dust that Grandmother made.  In the meantime, I'll keep him as comfortable as possible."

"Baron Sider, you should take a look at this..."

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

Since there was no tsunami, the Secure Shelter, while a bit worse for wear, is stil standing.

It will last until the natural end of the spell, a day and a half or so from now, and it will keep you protected until some more construction work can be done.

That is, assuming nothing else happens :P

Might I suggest Arcane-Forging a set of foci, including those required for Mage's Magnificent Mansion? It would be significantly safer...

Re: OOC: Who is doing what now?!

While you choose your spells, remember that all the spells that you could cast from your slots that you can already cast with your primary class are bonus for your cleric - you don't have to choose them again to cast them from your cleric slots.

This applies to domain slots as well: if you can cast a L1 spell from your domain slots that is already in your primary class's list, you can prepare it in your domain slot. Of course it will be a level 1 spell with a CL of 1, whereas in your primary class it might be a higher level spell and will certainly have a higher CL.
