d20 - Pathfinder - Races - Arkrim Compendium

For copyright reasons, Pathfinder RPG cannot recreate githyanki or githzerai from Dungeons and Dragons. However, I've created some fan-based material for recreating the races using the race point system from the Pathfinder Advanced Race Guide. This is just a fan made monster for anyone who wants to use it in their private games. Obviously, githyanki and githzerai are still owned by Wizards of the Coast.

GITH
Long ago, the nomads of the astral planes known as gith split into two clans: the yanki and the zerai. When the astral roads were flooded with monstrous demons and aberrations expelled during the God Wars, they sought out the material plane as a refuge from the chaos. They made their home in the mountains of Githara (meaning "Gith land") far to the Eastern wilds of the Higashi empire. They live in seclusion far from the wars of men and monsters and tend to trade exclusively with goblinoids and beastfolk. Gith are defined by their class levels—they do not possess racial Hit Dice. All Gith have the following racial traits:
  • Abilities: +2 Dexterity, +2 Wisdom, –2 Intelligence (if Githzerai) or +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, -2 Wisdom (if Githyanki); All gith are agile but differ on their mental strengths and weaknesses based on their clan.
  • Medium: Gith are medium-sized and have no bonuses or penalties due to size.
  • Speed: Gith have a base speed of 30 feet.
  • Type: Gith are native outsiders.
  • Darkvision: Gith can see in the dark out to 60 feet.
  • Spell-Like Abilities: A gith from the zerai clan can use daze, feather fall (self only), mage armor (self only) and shatter as a spell-like abilities each once per day. A gith from the yanki clan can use mage hand, blur (self only), lesser dimension door (self only=light load) as spell-like abilities each once per day. Their caster level with these spell-like abilities is equal to their full character level. The DCs are Charisma-based.
  • Lesser Spell Resistance: A gith has spell resistance equal to its class levels + 6.
  • Languages: Gith begin play speaking Gith and Common. Gith with high Intelligence can choose bonus languages from the following: Abyssal, Auran, Draconic, Ignan, Undercommon.
  • Race Points: Gith are worth 10 race points making them playable as a base race at no additional cost.

GITH RACIAL FEATS
Githzerai can take the following racial feats:
    CROSS-CLAN GITH
Prerequisite: Gith spell-like abilities, must be taken at 1st level.
Benefit: You start with the spell-like abilities as both a gith from the yanki clan and a gith from the zerai clan. However, each time you take the Greater Gith Magic feat you must choose whether to apply it to your yanki spell-like abilities or your zerai spell-like abilities.

    GITH JUMP
    Prerequisite: Gith spell-like abilities.
Benefit: You can use jump (self only) as a spell-like ability once per day. Your effective caster level is equal to your total character level. DCs are Charisma-based. If you acquire the Greater Gith Magic feat, it's effects also applies to this spell-like ability each time you take it.

    GITH PLANE SHIFT
Prerequisite: Greater Gith Magic, Gith spell-like abilities, character level 11th.
Benefit: You can use plane shift as a spell-like ability once per day. Your effective caster level is equal to your total character level. DCs are Charisma-based.

    GREATER GITH MAGIC
    Prerequisite: Gith spell-like abilities.
Benefit: You can use each of your gith spell-like abilities one additional time per day.
Special: This feat can be taken multiple times. Its effects stack, each time adding an additional use per day of all the spell-like abilities listed.

    SHARED GITH MAGIC
    Prerequisite: Gith spell-like abilities.
Benefit: Your gith spell-like abilities that are normally limited to "self only" are no longer limited this way and you can now target allies with them normally.

LESSER DIMENSION DOOR
This spell functions as Dimension Door except that its range is 25 feet + 5 feet per 2 caster levels, you cannot take other creatures with you and it is only a 2nd level spell. Also, you cannot use this spell to teleport to a location that you do not have a clear line of sight to.
