Simpler Times - Isah Stone
The hipster crowd in Nashville had embraced the hookah lounge with great passion and with their business had come others as well. Now thriving the place had a first class bistro in it as well. The Mediterranean artwork set the place apart from the honky tonks surrounding it. Combine that with the comfortable almost beanbag chairs, chaises, and comfortable couches and one could not deny its charm.
Tonight was no different. The place was filled with locals and regulars. The bistro side was booming as well and food was flying out. The only issue was the small cadre of kindred sitting near the back of the place. The intimidating presence, glowering looks, and general "I'm more badass than you" attitudes marked them as neonates and probably worse yet, Brujah.
"Why are we here Thomas? This place sucks. Its too relaxed...soooooo bored.."
The young woman speaking was known to Isah, Cammie Lassiter...a young up and comer in the ranks of the Sheriff. She was known to be handy in a fight and rumor had it that she had led the last charge on the Anarchs three years ago. Of course there were the numerous borderline breaches of the Masquerade but nothing unforgivable thus far. The man she was talking to her was her brother Thomas Lassiter. He was not so much of an up and comer. Brutish, harsh, rage filled, and "oppressed" he was rarely in control of his beast and was probably only still around due to Cammie's street credit with the local Sheriff.
The other three were unknown to Isah, more than likely transients moving through town who got caught up in Cammie's charisma. Young, blond, attractive, with ahint of danger lingering just behind her pale blue eyes...she was the type of woman that led many a man to ruin but oh what a time they had on their way...
[Private to Isah Stone: Sorry for the lateness of this. Took me a while to get sorted. I firgure we'll not give away all the secrets of your hideout in the first post. Please feel free to add what you wish. The Brujah are mostly harmless and Cammie is reasonable though Thomas is less so]
