E2S4 - The Kiyomi Maru, South Pacific - A, T, N, TK
On day three of the expedition, the Kiyomi Maru pulls into the ominously named Bay of Wrecks on the eastern shore of Kiritimati, the largest island in the sovereign nation of Kiribati. The low-lying atoll is a low green-and-tan hillock, it's highest point barely two meters above the surface of the Pacific.

Dr. Ishida noses the Kiyomi Maru into a floating dock at Aeon Field, one of two airstrips on the atoll. "Refueling will take an hour, maybe two. Go ashore and stretch your legs if you want. Enjoy the scenery while you can--the President of Kiribati expects his entire nation to be submerged in less than fifty years, thanks to global climate change." For once, Ishida-san isn't smoking; it's an unhealthy habit, but it's especially unhealthy when you're about to pump biodiesel into a fuel tank.

Time keeper stepped out of the vessel and stretched his legs, he really wanted to go for a real run and really get the kinks out but was afraid to draw attention to the group so instead went for a gentle jog round the harbour and back.

"Mind a little company, Ben? Swimming's good exercise, but I'm too tall to be cooped up on the boat for long!"  Angela grins, and keeps pace easily, blissfully unaware of how little effort Time Keeper is putting into his run.
