"I will do what you ask if it will not spill more of their poison into the sea. I care nothing for damage to their structure, but I do have concern that those pumps will spill more chemicals into the water where you and I live. Can we damage them safely?" Ty'daal responds, honestly.

Ty'daal:
Skate's subsonic voice rumbles. "Grrrr... Damaging the pipes might cause their fracking chemicals to leak. Smash the electrical panels instead! Rip out the power cables!" With a lash of his tail and a powerful kick he swims upward, toward the junction.

Re: E3S3 - Crashed Alien Spacecraft - Ty'daal, Ian
Ty'daal follows Skate, pulling up when they reach the junction box. He draws his fist back and punches through, grabbing hold of the wires, and ripping them out. "That should slow down the surface dwellers attack on our home."

'They should have worked with me, instead of trying to kill me' the warrior thought to himself.

Looking over at Skate he says, "I am glad to have an ally in this matter. The humans would not be so callous if it were their homes being polluted by these 'fracking' chemicals."

"Um... excuse me, a little help here." Amm-Fibian says towards Skate and Ty'daal as he tries to shove the human up to the platform.

Ty'daal:
[OOC: Ah, how innocent our alien warrior is, when it comes to understanding humanity's dark sides!]

Skate joins in on the destruction, tearing cables loose, and sending flares of electricity from the glowing lines of electroplaques along his limbs and torso through the system.

Amm-Fib'ian:
[Test Strength vs a Difficulty of 5 to heave Deep 1 up onto the diving ledge. (A typical human would be Difficulty 4, but with all his gear and air-tanks, he's heavy.)]

Skate's voice booms through the water. "Let the human drown! Let them all drown!"

The other diver, Deep 2, is swimming steadily away from the action, toward the safety of Pylon D.

"Holy Diver, you are a heavy one old chum."

Amm-Fibian pushes the Diver to safety, and then tries to get an eye on Skate and TUNA him.

Ian:
With a mighty heave, you shove Deep 1 up onto the perforated metal deck, where he can breathe. Dropping back beneath the surface, you target Skate.

Perhaps Skate is correct in his belief that he is no longer human; the TUNA is calibrated to work best on humans, but it's results on Skate are... less than optimal. You are in control, but his mind is a primal thing full of raw emotion. He's fighting back hard against the TUNA's influence with waves of rage!

Skate speaks... "Hey Ty'daal.... RAAARGH!... we should probably make our point by helping rather than hurting.... GWAAAARRR!!.... Don't you think? Well, RAARAARAAAR!!! Let's get to rescuing these people, now... buddy. RAWWWWOOOO!... pardon me a moment while I find a restroom."

Amm-Fibian will get skate as far from the platform as he can before control breaks.

Ian:
Skate's body is powerful! His swimming ability is excellent--you can cover a lot of distance before his growing rage pushes his mind into direct conflict with yours.

[OOC: At your current level of control, you have to re-roll the test next panel.]

Ty'daal:
Skate's efforts and your own have wrecked the fracking fluid pumps, and completely shut down all but emergency power to the platform. Suddenly, Skate thrashes in the water, speaks strange words in his growling voice, then swims at high speed toward the open sea!

Above you, from the direction of the open gratings of the platform deck, you hear a series of faint splashes, as if several small items entered the water.

Ty'daal remembers Skate's words about the depth charges- a term that while not completely familiar to him the concept is from his time fighting the invaders on his world. His gaze sweeps around looking for Amm-Fibian. They needed to get out of here, now.

OOC: Amm-Fibian rolled 2,3 using d6,d6 ((2,3)).
Possession 6, Total 5
If Amm-Fibian has any control left on Skate, he will swim as far away as he can till control breaks. If he happens to see a Giant Squid or Great White Shark, he will punch it before releasing control.

Ty'daal kicks hard and rushes through the water, grabbing hold of Amm-Fibian then dives downwards and away from the platform heading in the opposite direction Skate had gone.

Re: E3S3 - Crashed Alien Spacecraft - Ty'daal, Ian
Ian:
You retain control, although Skate's rage and anger might be beginning to affect you, a little. When it comes to looking for trouble to get Skate into, Great Whites aren't common around Hawai'i--but Tiger Sharks might be nearby. You might find a Barracuda lurking in the rocky outcrops along the bottom, as well.

[OOC: Test Skate's Awareness of 6 against a Difficulty of 5 to see if you can spot something dangerous.]

Ty'daal:
Multiple explosions at various depths go off with sharp CRACK!s, making the area beneath the platform a bad place to be!

[OOC: Test your choice of Aquatic or Water Control (depending on how you go about things) vs a Difficulty of 6 to dodge the depth charge explosions. On a success, you and Ian are both clear.]

(10:53, Today: Ty'daal rolled 6,6 using D6,d6. Water Control. +5. Since this is a defensive roll can I add my Underwater Combat bonus? If so the total is +7.)

Ty'daal:
As you dive for safety, you use your command of the sea to push back against the hammering shockwaves! Ian seems unharmed; his bulbous eyes are open, but unfocused--his attention seems to be elsewhere.

Behind you, the platform is dark and ominously silent...

Ian:
You startle a tiger shark, even as you become aware of the flash and bang of explosions under the platform behind Skate!

[OOC: No roll to hit it necessary--even a swing and a miss will piss it off sufficiently for your purposes. :)]

Ian:
Ty'daal is dragging you through the water at dolphin-speed! Behind you, the drilling platform has gone completely dark. Here, you're deeper and a bit up-current; the water tastes more like ocean and less like chemical runoff. The sea floor is deeply-cut with channels, their walls the result of ancient lava flows from when the island chain was young.

While splashing along quickly behind Ty'Daal, Amm-Fibian puts a hand to his chin thoughtfully.
"While not being what you would call a friend to the humans, I don't believe war is the answer. There is one human who may be able to help us put some perspective on this issue.  High Detective Jones of the Multinational Investigation Bureau."
