E3S7 - Kuailo Marina - Ian, Ty'daal
Ian, Ty'daal:
At the Kuailo Marina, where Senior Detective Nathaniel Jones moors his dilapidated houseboat, the Driftwood, things are in some disarray. Many of the docking slips are empty, and the vessels normally moored there are milling, somewhat aimlessly, in the coastal waters just off-shore to the west.

Detective Jones' boat is still tied at the docks--it's not exactly seaworthy enough to leave the marina in less-than-dire circumstances. Detective Jones is aboard, dressed in a dark suit and a dark purple necktie. He's pacing on the tiny after-deck, speaking into his cell phone. "No, Marcy, everything's alright here... No, the cloud dispersed; I don't think anything made it this far downwind... Just a precaution, yeah... Well, anything you could find out would be helpful, I guess... Call me."

Amm-Fibian waves to the detective from the water.
"Detective Jones, my friend Mr. Ty'Daal would like to speak to you."

Re: E3S7 - Kuailo Marina - Ian, Ty'daal
"Ian. Why am I not surprised?" Detective Jones says. "Hang on, I picked up something that might make our arrangement a little more discrete." He ducks into the cabin of the Driftwood, and comes out trailing a pair of orange wires. At their end are a couple of rounded discs, each about the size of a large limpet. He drops them overboard with a splash.

Suddenly, you can hear his voice underwater--distorted, but clear enough. "A hydrophone and a speaker, wired into my stereo! Now you don't have to hijack somebody's life just to talk to me--not that anybody seems to object; half the people you mind-jump treat it like getting punched by Sean Penn--a brush with celebrity." You can tell that Detective Jones is shaking his head in bemusement.

"I don't think that the effect of the TUNA is anything like being punched, but I will look into it."
Amm-Fibian examines the round discs, "I will improve these later."

"Who are you human? Amm-Fibian said you could help me with these 'Amphora' humans, but I do not see how," Ty'daal asks suspiciously.

Ty'daal:
Detective Jones looks you up-and-down. "We've met; the incident at the Southern Shore facility across town." A scowl creases his dark face. "Maybe all us humans look alike to you. Whatever." He reaches into the breast pocket of his jacket, and flips open a badge holder. The gold oval inside is inscribed "Multinational Investigation Bureau" in six different human languages. The ID card opposite shows his picture and badge number, the MIB seal, and the label "Senior Detective Nathaniel Jones".

"Amphora humans? As in Amphora Corporation, the outfit that just had a toxic leak over at the container dock?" He looks at the orange wires trailing overboard, then speaks toward the cabin door where the microphone is located. "Ian, tell me you didn't have anything to do with that. ACPD is calling it an eco-terrorist attack."

"Me personally... technically no. I was there as an observer and advisor. Oh, and rescue assistant. Ty'daal and Skate however, may have done some smashing."
