Everyone, I’m really sorry. My life has been a nightmare, a shambles and a blur over the last couple of months. If it could go wrong, it has. I haven’t even surfaced momentarily over at CBR in weeks.

I finish work for Christmas on Friday and don’t go back until the 6th, so I’m going to be able to really reset and catch up with stuff properly here.

But I’m genuinely right on the verge of re-entering internerd society. :)

Despite my best efforts, I have been unable to determine the name of the inn. It was first mentioned, so far as I can tell, here:

It was referred to as "the inn"and has been referred to as such since. I realize there's only one inn in this story so far, but given its proximity to the city I imagine it has a name. It's certainly earned one by the rules of narrative importance as pioneered by the Order of the Stick. ^_^

I think it’s called “The Inn” (note the capitalisation of the words as a proper noun).

I'm sorry. This weekend, do or die. I spend all day typing stuff and creating for 10 hours a day, I just don't have the heart to spend the hour or two of free time I get doing more of that. And...I'm texting a girl, so there's that too.

I should have posted long ago. What I'm about to say doesn't excuse my absence, because I damn well could have carved out time if I made this a priority.

I'm working a lot of hours at my job (essential service, courts still working). I'm new, and an attorney in private law goes through hell in their first years. When I have free time, I spend it with my housemates. And with my girlfriend, who I'll be getting married to soon. We've been apartment hunting for weeks, and we just got accepted to a place. We'll be moving house to live together, and that'll be its own thing.

What little time I have has been spent just chilling and unwinding. I love this game, but posting is a psychological pressure I just didn't want to deal with. So I didn't. I got halfway through a post a couple of times and it just sat there on my computer for weeks. I'm sorry for any delay or inconvenience I've put you guys through. All my "be better" energy is being transmitted into other endeavors right now. But I should be doing better by you. Sorry.
