Re: OOC -  Sitting Around the Campsite.
First OOC post, unsurprisingly by me.

I'd like to wait for everyone to get their characters in, but truth be told I've decided on some of them already.  I know the players well, and their characters are solid.

There's room left and I'll wait a little longer before deciding that.  I tell you, I've received some really, really nice submissions, and it's going to be hard deciding.  So far, every one has been a winner.  I wish I could have more than five players, but that's my limit for a sustained campaign (which this will be).

Any players who don't get in...I'll be keeping their RTJ's and pinging them if someone drops out.  I don't know if they'll still be interested, but I'd rather ask people who have taken the time to make up a great character than simply re-open the game for RTJ's.

My wife is sick, so I'm staying home today.  Still, I'll be able to enter 3/5 of the people.  I'm still deciding on the other two.

Getting clarification from one of the people I planned to add today.  Also, players added, please have your descriptions and pictures in place, ASAP.

So far, we're 100% Asher. Hopefully there will be at least some variation in our three other teammates.

We can only hope.  :)

Though given the GM's comment that in some cases it will be obvious what race people are, we have to assume there'll be some more distinct races within the party.

Also, so far we're 100% short.  So if we get a mission requiring us to retrieve an object from a high shelf, we could be in trouble.  I have put no points into "Standing on a Box" as a Secondary Ability so far.

Lovely to meet you anyway, Vilhelm!  ;)

Asher are pretty easy to pin down. They're the only ones with pale skin and dark hair.

Likewise.:)

Don't worry.

SOME of us put points into actually getting STR and CON. :P

I can see why you put a lot of thought into planning all Tasha's levels, Sharp. I've worked it out so that I'm getting a Martial Art every level while still mostly maxing my ATK and DEF. It should be pretty cool, at least until you tell me I messed up my math somewhere. :)

Level 10 Adell vs. Level 10 Tasha would probably be a VERY interesting fight. (although I'd prefer to face someone who didn't conceivably have all the same bennies I could have. :P )

Ironic, considering that the character in your portrait is 5'2.

Hi Adell - welcome to the Campfire.

And NOBODY wants to fight Level 10 Tasha.  Down that path lies only death and misery.

It's a tricky process.  :)

The problem with a level 10 Tasha is that she's not just a martial artist, she spams Dominion techniques.  I'm 100% certain that Adell will be a better 'pure' martial artist than her, though.  The HDS just use their martial arts as the delivery system for the upper-level techs.  :)

In reply to GM (msg # 14):

This is why I said "Don't fight Level 10 Tasha".

Level 10 Tasha makes armies go kaboom.  Or mountains.

It might be an even fight in terms of combat skills (apart from Tasha's utterly monstrous HTH damage), but then turn 3 happens and BOOM!!
