Re: OOC -  Sitting Around the Campsite.
I'll try and get a post in today (or at the latest tomorrow), but...

I think we've got a little confused on the room situation.

When we first arrived, it was one room for the ladies and one for the gents.

When we went to bed, it SOUNDED like we've all got separate rooms.

When we got up, we were back to a ladies room and a gents room.

This may sound like niff-naff and trivia, but I'm not sure Serafyna would have done her pre-bed ritual stuff the same way with Gio in the room, and I'm almost positive that Vilhelm wouldn't have had his little conversation with Samuel and Adell present.

But meh... I suppose we can just ignore the minor continuity glitch and just assume these were done in private, can't we?

Now, I may be wrong, but if I recall correctly I put you in 'suites'.  Ie, big room, small bedrooms off the big room, and a bathroom.

I'll go back and check.  If not, my bad.  :(

Yep, just checked.  It's suites.  The women's is written as having two bedrooms off the sitting room.  Didn't write how many were for the men, but assume everyone had a private bedroom, but with shared bathroom and sitting room.

Oh, cool.  That makes sense then.

"What are you doing, Giovanna?"
"Undressing you with my eyes."
"That's a lamp you're staring at!"
".... I knew that."

Giovanna may be a blind mentalist, but she's still a teenage girl who loves gossip :P

Embarrassingly, I had no idea until now how old Giovanna was.

Good to know.

I didn't put her age in her description?

*checks*

Nope, sure didn't. It's in there now.

Adell:
"Ah good!" Adell was annoyingly chipper for this hour in the morning. "The sooner we get started, the sooner it'll get done!" He flashed the others a big grin. "Let's get going. Maybe there will be more threats, and we can actually get some clues off of them."

He knew he was tempting fate, but he didn't like the idea of an unknown enemy with unknown powers throwing people that were incapable of surrender at them. Any clues they could get would help find this mystery villain.

Annoyingly chipper?  Check.
Searching for clues?  Check.
Mystery villain?  Check.
Ridiculous Neck-tie?  Check.

Adell's basically a Martial Arts version of Fred from Scooby Doo, isn't he?  ;)

Well Fred's usually chipper late at nights so it can be scary, but yeah... I hadn't thought of it like that.

So does that mean when we meet the villain I'm supposed to rip his face off?

EDIT: And I got to find a Daphne for while the bumbling morons are accidentally trapping my foes. :P

Okay, so I'll just see if our final player chimes in - if not, post up tomorrow or Wednesday.

"Any clues they could get would help find this mystery villain."

A little ahead of the game.

It's also amusing to consider - for me, because I know the situation so it's easy for me to see it all - the clues are already there.  Didn't really expect anyone to catch any of them yet, but I had hoped.

Well that little snippet tells us more than I was expecting to hear.

Notice was mistakenly written down as "Vigilance" on my sheet. Probably because I was using French books when I made it. Sorry about that, I'll check tonight to make sure I haven't mistranslated other skills.

In reply to GM (msg # 833):

What I don't understand about the translation thing, well, one of the many things, is that the capital of Gabriel is apparently Chauville in the French book, but I'm pretty sure it's Chaville in the English book.  Gabriel place-names are in French.  How is a French name different in French than in English?!

Oh yeah.  Notice roll.  Right.  I'll get right on that.

I imagine they thought they'd done such a splendid job with the stuff that actually DID need translating, that it could only make things even better if they also translated the stuff that DIDN'T need it.
